Im sure he is closing in. If he can get a belt, he will be on the list easily. If he can beat Chagaev, Valuev, Chambers, or Povetkin, I think he deserves it then as well.

Polish boxer Tomasz Adamek wants a shot at a heavyweight title, and has singled out David Haye as a potential opponent.
Adamek, who trains out of New Jersey, says he will take on Britain's Haye or either of the Klitschko brothers for a shot at a championship belt.
Haye is the WBA heavyweight champion, while Vitali Klitschko holds the WBC crown and Wladimir has the WBO and IBF belts.
"I am ready for everybody," said Adamek, who won his 10th consecutive fight last month with a majority decision over Chris Arreola in California.

There is a pressure on Haye to fight Wlad. So maybe Adamek is better at calling Vitali instead.

Too many P4P lists (including the rings and the other one I saw, SI was it) include those guys.

They are picked on fan awareness, publicity, and of course, to sell magazines.

Also, results from about 10 years ago seem to be taken into account when they're good (wins), but the bad ones (losses) are conveniently forgotten about.

YOu've got a lot of guys in all weights dominating weight classes and/or moving up weights and still winning, who are nowhere near these lists.

But guys like Mosley, Hopkins etc are still on there for some reason. Maybe they shift more magazines that way?

He's conquered two weight divisions and is competing well in the third. That's pound 4 pound material in my book. When was the last time you saw a LHW having a serious campaign at HW? IMO Adamek has a much better p4p claim than Haye.

Cause Adamek barely beat Arreola and was hurt a few times. Jones dominated Ruiz also that was Jones first fight at heavy without stopping at Cruiser. If Adamek went down to cruiser i think hed be deserving of a top 10 pfp guy but hes lucky Arreola wasnt in shape or he would have got knocked out. IMO he is no threat to the Klitchkos.

Tarver and Johnson PFP were still better than the Heavys Adamek has beaten and he loss to decisively to Dawson.

imo adamek could have the 10th or 9th spot, his was champion at lightheavy, at cruiser and a serious contender at heavy, thats for real p4p

    Adamek beat Arreola comfortably.

I think that Adamek isnt on many people's p4p lists, because they sipmly dont know him :!: Everybody is an ignorant is some degree. After watching Adamek's fights at LHW, CW and HW there is no reason not to place him in top10, or at worst top15.

Ive seen a lot of his fights and hes a very good fighter but imo not an elite PFP type. He fought a smart fight against Arreola and gets props for fighting with a lot of discipline but i dont get when alot people say he won a wide decision:huh:-( Just not the case, i think one judge,Associated Press got it right in calling it a draw. Theres a few on ESB who also agree with this.

One question: How did you score the Cunningham fight?
