Rahman beat better fighters, held titles and beat Barrett. I don't see how calling him better than Monte is wrong.

And if Oldyfield, Ruiz and Chagaev can beat Valuev, I don't see any reason why Adamek couldn't, if he fought a smart fight.

one punch rahman is known for his lucky shot on lewis which was paid bak with interest and gettin ktfo OUT OF THE RING by Maskaev. He was decent in his day, and that was about 4 years ago. u an call him better if u want but thats how u say, splittin hairs? gd lck to adamek he shuld wipe p rahman fight a legit heavy and then we'll see. I say he wouldnt beat valuev cos even shot to pieces golota was taggin him, he doesnt strike me as disciplined ive seen 6 of his fights and he fights the same way, effective, but not disciplined

Adamek can definitely fight a "smart" fight, if he has to. His rematch with Briggs is a good example for that.

Adamek - Valuev would probably look similar to Haye - Valuev, but with Adamek throwing more punches but never really hurting him because he doesn't pack the same punch as Haye.

maybe i wont doubt that he culd do that, noone foght haye could fight like that against valuev and maintain that discipline so i cant rule out adamek frm doin that, would be interestin if adamek eva fought valuev in the future (not the fite jus the outcome) maybe as some sort of eliminator?

I don't understand Polish, but Adamek was just on Polsat and did a lot of talking about Rahman. I don't know if that means the fight is official or not.

That's my opinion and if you think Adamek just stands and trades with Valuev, then you're ******ed.

    Ademek- BALLS
    HAYE-MOUTH

    But I think
Haye would beat him to death at cruiser or heavy

I have more respect for ademek either way, he was a small cruiserweight and really has no business at heavyweight but a 40 year old rahman former heavyweight champion is better opponent tougher test than the journeyman heavyweight Barrett Haye fought his 2nd heavyweight fight

re the person whining that adamek should fight toney.

toney drew with rahman and doesn't bring the natural weight advantage that rahman brings.

if adamek fought toney, yes more ppl would be talking about it, but others would moan that adamek was fighting a fellow blonw up cruiser.

i see adamek hammering rahman with fast, fluid shots. lots of punches and lots of movement. nothing wrong with watching the still-cruiserweight champ beat up some bigger men.

Well I'd rate adamek's win over golota as better than haye's vs barret, but not rahman. rahman hasn't done jack since 2005 or so except show that all he's looking to do is pick up a paycheck or two. (and he really hasn't looked real explosive/dangerous since the early 2000's).

As for Adamek. It's fine to take it slow at HW and try and grow into it, but it looks really unlikely that anything he does will make him compettive with a klitchko and he'd probably really struggle to even pick up a belt (unless Ruiz gets one again somehow). He's simply too small, gets hit too much, and doesn't have that special speed/power to compensate. So given his size why not stay at CW and establish a reign there. With adamek, cunningham, and afalobi the CW division was fairly exciting and could've generated some money fights eventually.
