This is how the how low the divsion has sunk, a punk like this number 3? I mean even a limited Golota would have destroyed this joke in 2 rounds.

Worst era ever in boxing. Time to shut down the heavyweight division.

He made it to #3 by default. The Klitschkos cleaned out everyone to put him into that spot.

    OP: Wrong.

The Heavyweight division is not bad, it's just that the two top heavyweights are so much better than everyone else.

I was never that sold on him, even less so after watching him against McBride and Grant. He's featured in some entertaing fights and has some decent wins - but I was never fussed on him.

Yeah, when Adamek is the 3rd ranked heavyweight, it's a good indicator that the division is ****.

I didn't see you saying this before the fight, so **** off you ****. Adamek is a fine fighter and proved himself at HW by destroying Arreola.

I expected more of Adamek but Vitali clearly took the fight very seriously coming in at his lightest weight on over a decade and was quite simply at the top of his game.

Adamek earned his number 3 ranking based on fighting some decent and well known opposition and being a rare thing at heavyweight, athletic and well conditioned. That alone separated him from most contenders but he was simply too small no former light heavy is going to beat an ATG super heavy like Vitali.

While the Klitschko's are great fighters and are clearly much better than the rest of the division, the division is pretty weak at the moment. Both Klitschko's experienced losses and tougher fights in the previous era when the division was deeper, now it's so weak anyone with a fan base and an undefeated record can be in line for a shot and even former light heavies and cruisers are moving up and quickly becoming top contenders.

Adamek look like some pub fighter last night. Crap performance, ruiz would have knocked him out.

    I dont know about that:D

But there are certainly some other fighters who would have beaten him.

I honestly dont think if you beat Arreola you are some what proven to take Klitschkos and getting ranked numer 3 based on that...
