Seriously though all us Golota fans (although im a bigger Adamek fan) in reality knew Golota was done when he struggled with a guy like Mike Mollo.

 

I believe some of us are fire up to much after this win

this win dosnt prove anything about adamek

it proves (again) that golota is completely shot and thats all

I'd love to see adamek being serious contender against klitchkos but dreaming that he is at this point the biggest thread at heavyweight to them is not serious at all

Interesting times for Adamek. Some good fights to be made at CW but he could probably make better money fighting guys at HW that he knows he can beat - he could beat alot of name HWs (especially old ones), many with alot less work than tough CW fights.

I'm sure the lure to stay at HW will be too big; I just hope he doesn't start coming into fights over 215. Any of this "I need the weight so he doesn't push me around" bull**** will be the death of him.

 

As slaurb said it means highlander. Its beacue Adamek was born in the Gilowice in Poland which is a village in Polish mountains. Polish highlanders, as Scottish highlanders are tough guys, this is why Tomek always gives his best in the ring.

He would probably weighed as much as possible to carry both power and speed. Tomasz has one of the best trainers in boxing today (Andrew Gmitruk, who trained also Dariusz Michalczewski and Andrew Golota) and he will not allow Tomasz to be overweiged in a fight.
