I was really looking forward to this fight beofre B-Hop asked for silly money and ruined the chances of it happening any time soon. As for P4P, it's really vague when it comes to situations like this. Let's be fair, it's just someone's personal subjective view most of the time.
If Hopkins doesn't fight until 2010, he'll be 45, inactive since October of 2008, and moving up in weight again. A win for Adamek would be an excellent one, especially if he becomes the first man to stop B-Hop, but given the circumstances surounding Hopkins going into the fight, that win alone would not get him inside the top 5.
If he beat Gunn as impressively as Banks then probably he should be around top 10 right now, if he KO Hopkins then probably it would be enough for somewhere top 6-8 p4p ... if he however go upstairs and beat some quality contender at HW (..... say Haye) he definitely will be in top 5 p4p
Right, but I meant The Ring's ranking - it's quite objective, other ranks are not as prestigous as this one too. I would like to see him beating Haye nice path.
Actually Adamek over Donaire on that list...but then again Donaire is a small fighter so going down 4lbs is more credible then moving up 25lbs according to them...which is why P4P is garbage!
no...118 is miles away from 112... Darchinyan would have already been in the hall of fame if he beat agbeko
