Adamek v. Hopkins

I don't know what Hopkins is thinking. Maybe he things cause Adamek gets popped a few good times during a fight that he can win this. And he prob will be winning the 1st half of the fight. But as it wears on & Tomasz cranks up the pressure, he'll take control & it would be so sweet if Adamek could be the 1st to stop BH. Adamek wants this fight to contribute to his legacy & what better way to make a big statement in the record books than to be the first man to stop Bernard Hopkins.

One thing is for sure. No way in hell does Adamek have to worry about being KO'ed by this old man.

hopkins on points...bhop would outsmart adamek. i feel they are equally strong

 

Gotta love Hopkins' skill of outboxing lesser boxers, but how long can this man continue doing what he has done would be the question. I think Adamek on pure physicality beats him.

 

this would be the first time that hopkins would fight someone who is in their prime and significantly bigger and stronger than him. not a knock on ole b hop just sayin hes gotta know his limits.

Hopkins wins this fight easy. I don't care how big Adamek is, he doesn't have enough skills to compete. Lets not forget Dawson outboxed Adamek and Dawson doesn't have the durability Hopkins has or the skills. Bigger doesn't mean better.

I leaned my lesson by betting against the old man before. My mind says Adamek, but I wouldnt put money on it.

Adamek will not quit when things arent going his way after 4 rounds. Pavlik did this he resigned himself to defeat and didnt even try for the rest of the fight, and it was because of this that the Pavlik fight made BHop look alot better than he is currently.

Look at the Calzaghe fight for instance BHOp couldnt deal with Calzaghes workrate and he wasnt mentally weak like Pavlik so Bernard couldnt bully him and he fought the whole fight on the back foot.

Adamek will be relentless and BHop would make him look daft and defenceless at times but he hasnt got the stamina to keep Adamek away for the whole fight.

I hope this fight comes off as alot of mainly Americans will be in for a shock.

 

Pavlik is a one paced US creation.

Adamek is a two weight world chapion and a proven tough guy and fighter, both physically and mentally.

 

You have to remember that Tomasz Adamek to fight against Dawson was NOT prepared by Andrzej Gmitruk, the man who has been training him since his beggining with short break (since Briggs 2 till Dawson). In Adamek's corner during the fight was Buddy McGirt, a really good boxer, but as a coach he is lame. He changed Tomek's style, Pole didn't fight as good as always, didn't punch so frequently as he had been before. Now Adamek's saying that he is glad he's got a team back, before the fight and during it. McGirt prepared him also to second Briggs fight, that Adamek won by UD too, but he was not himself in the ring tho. Adamek was also forced to going down with his weight and it was a big problem for him to keep at 175 lbs. Now in CW division you can see his all values. A little recitifaction and excuse

Anyway I hope fight will happen and if Tomasz keeps his shape and prepares a good tactic against BHop he's got a chance to win. Nobody knows what's gonna happen if Adamek hit him straight on jaw, cuz he can do it even in lame sitiuation for himself (look 4th rd Cunningham). I doubt that Hopkins has ever had as strong opponent as a Pole is.

For me UD BHop or KO Adamek. Hard decision.
