Adamek - V. Klitschko in November?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by turbina, Aug 2, 2010.

  1. If Adamek keeps winning he eventually will have to face 1 of the Klitchko bros, i will root for him no matter which one it is, im ****ing tired of the K BROS, time for a new champ...

Adamek vs Haye may be a winnable fight for Adamek, I agree. Haye would probably drop him, but Adamek would have a decent chance.

Vitalion the other hand, will give Adamek a shellacking, almost certainly.

But do we know that Haye is even willing to fight Adamek? Gotta question the guy's willingness to fight anyone, aside from the Harrison types.

I would agree here that a fight with Haye would be better and easier for Adamek.... if Haye only wanted to fight him.

It is obvious Haye is just playing games to latch on to that title for as long as possible, and fight as little as possible in the mean time.

I feel Adamek would beat Haye.

Vitali is setting up camp now..dates and such. I think he is set on October with Briggs. I dont think he wants to change or will change the fight when wlad gets past Peter baring any injuries, he wants to fight December.

    Wlad Adamek in december??????

It's important for Tomasz to fight a tall opponent regardless.

A new champ is only a new champ if he wins the belt, earns the belt, defends the belt, and KEEPS the belt.

VK went many rounds with Sosnowski. You would think Adamek is at least a level above.

HBO would buy that fight with Adamek.
It was the same exactly thing when Vitali tried to get a fight with Solis the last time.
HBO would have bought the fight and Vitali was fine with moving the date a week back because they wanted it to happen on June 5th rather than May 29. What Arum declined then.
Briggs not running away I dont think they´ll sign him until Adamek got his fight with Grant done.
And if Adamek gets passed him as expected and doesnt get injured or something i would say it makes perfect sense to fight him in early november. It could even happen in the US.
Theres not much promotional work to do until Spet 11 anyway i would asume also enough time for sparring, preperation for Adamek etc left.

Is it out of the question for Vitali to wait till after Adamek-Grant? Shame to keep Briggs on the line like that though, however unlike Adamek Briggs hasn't exactly earned the shot in recent bouts.

Adamek-Wlad in December? Maybe if the money is right..I wonder if Adamek would rather risk another big fight against a Chambers or Povetkin or Haye before the big Klitschko pay-day.

I think it's a great fight For Vit and Adamek. I'd have to go with Klit based on size and strength but Tomas is more well rounded and more technical. I just think he won't be able to handle the power and strength of Vit who is also well rounded and unorthodox.

    Very bad move by Adamek.

Vitali is likely going to drop the belt after 2 more fights: November, then one 5 or 6 months later.

Adamek would best be served by some patience right now.

If this is true, this would be Adamek's 4th HW fight for 2010. This is the busiest guy in the division. :bbb

Thats how cowards roll. If you want to see bs politics like that, be a Haye/Povetkin fan. Adamek actually wants to EARN his belt.

I think IF Adamek can handle Vitali's power (and I believe he can because he has the cheen and the boxing abilities to stay away from Vitali's wheelhouse) he can outbox him for the decission. He will be more active and have more movement than any of Vitali's previous opponents in recent memory.
