For starters, there's no guarantee anyone in top 10 would even want to face Adamek, since they all know they can beat up on nobodies and eventually get a title shot. At the very least, negotiations with top 10 opponents are always more complicated and take longer since they have a high perceived value of themselves (just look what Peter wanted against Adamek to fight him in Poland). True, taking on Dimitrenko on the eve on his biggest payday with Wlad, would earn Adamek a lot of props, but should he lose or get injured people would be saying what the heck was he thinking taking that kind of unneccessary risk. Main Events just would not jeaopardize Adamek's biggest career fight with something that is so uneccesary. I have a feeling Adamek, win or lose against Wlad, will be taking on the best that this division has to offer, after that fight.

Exactly, not only is there no guarantee(ok perhaps there is) that he could find a better opponent. But if he lost, history would not look back and say "adamek had balls, he fought dimitrenko after signing to fight klitschko" history will just remember a guy who lost to dmitrenko.

Let him fight whoever he wants, by fighting klitschko he cements his status as a top class heavyweight, and worst case is someone saying "he was a good lhw but not good at hw"

Shame on Calslappy the protected ducker.

Adamek is a warrior. He is moving up to face Wlad or Vitali Klitschko at HW in the fight after this. That's the number one in the world at a weight class far above his own natural one.

You can't talk **** about a guy like that. That would be comparable to Jokezaghe moving up to Cruiserweight and facing Haye when Haye was unified 200 lb champ....something that Calslappy would NEVER have had the balls to do. :rofl

Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house bud. :patsch

Not to mention, nobody is going to take a tough tune-up (Dimitrenko? Chambers? Are you ******ed?) when their career highest payday is signed and just one fight away.

    You fail hard. :patsch:patsch:patsch

And lol at the Haye huggers trying to compare this to Haye's weak fights. This is a very different situation and everyone knows it.

    :good

The man is facing a Klitschko and that is all that matters...unlike Haye who has yet to find his balls. :rofl

McBride is a good tuneup with name recognition, nothing else.
