Whats the problem here? I really dont see what all the complaining is about. Holy crap

Adamek is fighting Klitschko in his very next fight!

He could fight a dead fish in the meantime and I wouldnt care. Since hes already signed the most important fight that he can possibly make in all of boxing, and is waiting for that date to arrive, it really comes off as petty for people to be making such a big deal about who hes choosing to fight in the bout prior to his championship fight.

I think you have your lines mixed up. Adamek never claimed to be any kind of saviour. He just fights who ever his managment company thinks is best for him. Granted, he's been brought up carefully and strategically, but his activity level has at least been impressive. Fact of the matter is, most people knew Adamek earned his title shot when be beat Arreola.

Adamek´s taking on Klitschko - that´s what matters. If he beats up McBride as a very easy stay-in-tune -fight, so what.

Wow. Mcbride is a crappy fight alright, and I would be pissed if it wasn't because I knew Adamek already signed with Klitschko.

I really respect Adamek for having worked his way up the heavyweight rankings and is now on the verge of fighting a great champion.

With a Klit on the horizon no need to fight any of the woeful top 30 hw's. McBride ain't a complete bum if he's motivated. He's a top 50 guy basically unless alcohol has shot him to **** (this could be a possibility). Got no problem with this. McBride put up a descent fight before against a real small hw (tyson in 05) wouldn't surprise me too much if mcbride is in shape and is able to trouble Adamek with some barely legal tactics like he did against tyson (laying on him, clubbing shots on the ropes, etc)

I won't believe it till it's officially announced, McBride is 212th in the world according to boxrec.:patsch

That's not a tune up, that's a slaughter. Must be because of the height.

    Everybody chill!

Nothing's official yet. And even if Adamek's braintrust picks McBridge to tango with it doesn't mean they'll ever meet in the ring. Focus on the real fight in September.

When you consider the unbelievable amounts of money involved these days, I doubt that the basically high-school educated heavyweights have much choice in who they party with come fight time.

If you want to see the best fight the best, you'll have to wait for the new Title Bout Championship Boxing career version to come out next year. Otherwise, grin and bear it.

The truth is adamek is not a champion, and not a top ten p4p star. He has no obligation to fight consistently ranked opponents, especially when he has a signed agreement to fight wlad/vitali next.

People are forgetting that adamek is just a challenger. He has earned his shot, but more importantly he now has his shot. For all I care he could be fighting larry holmes in his next fight. It doesn't matter because the lower the risk, the better in this situation.

There is a massive possibility that adamek/klitschko is the only fight worth looking forward to in this division. So why jeopardise it?

The only people who have any right to get annoyed are adamek's fans who will pay money to see the fight.

I wish people would stop comparing adamek's career to haye's also. It is a disservice to both boxers. As someone said before, adamek proved himself by beating arreola, what he has done since has been justified by him getting a title shot. He doesn't need to build his name off the back of haye. He is an accomplished fighter in his own right. Victories over briggs, bell, cunningham, banks, golota, estrada and arreola. He has earned this shot at klitschko by working hard and fighting his way from 175. So please give him the credit he deserves and leave talk of david haye for another thread.
