Fair enough - he has looked pretty awesome every time I've seen him, I think Juanma's explosiveness might make him the more exciting prospect in terms of entertainment, but maybe Alexeev is a better prospect overall (for the reasons you've given above). It'll be great to see him step up, definitely.
You can just simply post your opinion on the topic of the thread you know. What Odo said is pretty much how I see, and I rooted for Adamek vs. Briggs, Dawson, Bell and Cunningham. Alexeev is the future. The only thing I'd change is his punch output. Throw more punches, be more aggressive. But Adamek is a fighter who could slug out a win many times, he's a very tought fight for anyone.
Odo has made Adamek out to be ordinary more than once. He killed all of Odo's knock's with last nights fight. Huck was something special and Adamek was average....look who gets the last laugh. As far as this matchup goes i first need to see Alexeev before i have an opinion...i dont blindly make predictions.
Hater?? I dont hate Adamek nor do I hate any polish fighter. Quite the opposite I usually root for your compatriots against most opponents from other parts on this planet. Yep! You are right in saying that I thought quite highly of Huck.I still think that he is a good young fighter who will finally win a world title. Dont get me wrong though! I ve never thought that Huck is an exceptional and outstanding talent. He will never be a long reigning champ or something like this.He has quite a few of flaws, but the potential is there. A bum wouldnt have beaten Vadim Tokarev, dont you think so!!!## Anyway! Alexeev plays in a different dimension.I am positive that he would beat Huck quite easily.I also think that he would beat Adamek.Does that make me a hater??
Adamke has looked ordinary more than just once, polishpummler. Nevertheless,he is obviously good enough to beat a top cruiser. Huck something special?? Nah! I ve never claimed that Huck is something special. He is a very decent young fighter who will make some nose ,but he for sure is no outstandingly great talent who can dominate his weight division for ages.
Wow, so far we have Alexeev winning on the poll, which is quite a shock as Adamek is #1 and he has a lot of fans backing and supporting him, and Alex is still under the radar. But I guess it's youtube power...
It would be nice to see Cunningham geta rematch. However, be nice. Adamek doesn't owe anything to anyone. He has worked bloody hard to get where he is and he beat Cunningham, in a fight waged at a high level. He scored 3 knockdowns FFS. Cunningham fought one of the best fights of his career. Since Huck, he's been sitting on his punches more and this made him more open. If Cunningham went back to being the pitty pat boxer of the Rothmann, Guillermo Jones etc fights, Adamek will walk through him! Adamek should be able to enjoy his new status. I think he's looking for a good voluntary defense (Mormeck, Enzo macca), then the mandatory (Flores). You have fihgts like the Cunningham war every time and you don't have many miles left. Methinks they should build up sensibly to a rematch.
lacklustre - I've heard it all now. I don't agree about this Adamek looking ordinary either. He outsped, shut out Bell, he slightly outslugged, and dropped Cunningham 3 times. In allhis other cruiser fights (tune ups) he's thrown lightning fast combos. However, Adamek can be easy to hit, Alexeev is a bigger man than Adamek, and that precise punching power could be bad news for Tomasz. That is when Alexeev is ready. Alexeev would do well tp pick on Adamek after Adamek has been through a couple more wars. IMO Adamek is the Vazquez, Margarito of the higher weights.
Obviously, you havent seen Adamek's encounter with Jalusic who made the Pole look very mediocre. Anyway! For all Polish Adamek fans I dont try to belittle your hero.Honour where honour is due! Adamek is a great fighter, but he is a human being with weak spots.
That is the only one of his cruiser fights I haven't seen. I'm not Polish, I'm English,. but Adamek is a fantastic fighter. If he's slightly easy to hit, that makes him even more exciting to watch! Thakfully he has a great chin and a big pain threshold.
