"416-pound boxer Eric 'Butterbean' Esch tried to compete in an MMA tournament on Friday night, but slipped during his fight against Patrick Smith and couldn't get to his feet. Painful ownage ensued." http://www.cagepotato.com/2008/04/12/butterbean-vs-patrick-smith-an-american-tragedy/ butterbean tried to use his legs for momentum to try and get up but no luck lol he slips about 1 minute into the fight....then he just cant get up and the guy sits down and starts punching him..
Not really being tough on him. I know he is capable of producing good skills in the ring, good right hand, even if he's a slob physically. But after that showing against Vitali, I don't want him in the HW picture anymore. And this is what we & HBO are hoping for...
It is a sure candidate for fight of the year if it happens...I don't think there's any chance for Estrada to beat Adamek, but you just never know in heavyweight boxing...anything can happen. I hope, for the good of boxing, the fight happens in April. Two tremendous match-ups on the same card. Joel Julio vs Alfredo Angulo should be just as intriguing and stimulating. Keeping my fingers crossed!!:good
one reason i would pick adamek over arreola every day, is that adamek is a hungry fighter. he wants the heavyweight title and will fight the top contenders. he is desperate to get on HBO. despite being a proven champion and an exciting warrior, he gets no favours handed to him. i mean, adamek is lucky when his fights get on ShoBox (Showtime's program for american prospects) and HBO Boxing After Dark. meanwhile, arreola is a spoiled fighter who comes in fights out of shape, loses badly yet still gets opportunities. this is arreola's chance to headline a card. i will lose all respect for him if he ducks adamek. good to hear that HBO want adamek as the opponent.
If he is strong at 222 and still retains some of the speed along with his experience it should be a good fight but Areola can hurt you if he can hit you and Ademak can be hit. This looks like a good match-up for excitement but no walk in the park for anyone. Both men come to win.
