Probably right, I've watched the replay, after I've read some comments and news and I was like man, what the ****, I've seen a different fight or what?
perhaps adamek not looking a million dollars will convince arreola's team to take the fight, once and for all. but let's say it doesn't happen. how about odlanier solis? adamek must have a high ranking in some of the sanctionig bodies by now. surely someone like solis might see adamek as the fast track to a title shot, i.e. some kind of eliminator fight...i'm sure gary shaw could swing things to get it on showtime...anyone else see this as an option?
Believe it or not, I changed my mind in favor of an Adamek win from watching the Estrada fight. I didn't think he could move his head all that well before the fight but if he can stay out of the way of Estrada's hooks for the most part, he can stay out of Arreola's way. Adamek showed some very good mobility and agility vs Estrada. I didn't think he had it in him. Personally, I don't see any reason for the contraversy over the judging. Pay attention to the body punches and Adamek has a solid points win.
IT'S ON ! The fight is going to take place in Ontario, CA. Kathy Duva confirmed, also said it was a tough decision, because the day after Estrada fight they got call from Vitali's camp with serious offer with 7 digit payday in early Summer. She tried to make it in United Center in Chicago, where you have plenty of Mexicans and Polish, but they Arreola's team didn't agree. Also HBO made a standpoint if Adamek defeats Arreola, he will get a title shot, unofficially it's Haye. So not much time left, 2 months~ :happy
The only question here is adameks chin. If he can take arreolas power shots and rock him :scaredas: He will be the force in the heavy division However, i think his chin will hit his limit against arreola. Not saying he will lose, but i dont think he can take those big shots from arreola and shake them off like nothing like he has doen in the past:!:
adamek seems to be a positive for the heavyweights. estrada got in semi-good shape for the fight. arreola planning on coming in at a serious (i..e fairly light) for this fight. if nothing else it will be a great, entertaining contrast of styles. i have high expectations. i know adamek is a blown up cruiser. but i feel his all round boxing ability, fitness and toughness will come together, for a major win. a win that will get him all the elusive TV dates that he's been chasing. adamek's had a nice cash in (golota), he's had a good spoiler (estrada) and now it's a power punching top 10 heavyweight. always felt adamek was one of the most willing and brave fighters out there. good luck to him.
