If Arreola can get in shape (at least around 235lbs) and improve his boxing skills, he should win this.

LA would have been awesome. Looks like Team Cristobal is looking for that "home advantage".

Golota was 41 years old who's best years were WAY behind him.

Force = mass X acceleration. Adamek has the acceleration and I seriously doubt he would lose it at 225-230. The only thing left is mass, period.

At this point in time it's a little too late. You are who you are. Arreola in his prime could not beat the tall Klitchko. The Adamek fight is a test for both men.

Not really. It wasn't long ago he put a nice beating on Mollo. He f'ed up his arm badly against Austin and here we are.

He still looked like crap against Mollo. He's so much slower, his punches are telegraphed, I can go on and on why he isn't a live fighter. He's been past it since losing to Brewster.

    Agree

I'm a big Adamek supporter but even against Estrada you could see that his handspeed wasn't what it was againt Golota. i think 215-220 is where he should be. Any more and he is comprimising his speed and therefore, as you mentioned, his power.

Bigger isn't always better and sacrificing his speed which is his biggest assest isn't smart.

Damn. A lot of posters here hate fat people.

Well...I hope that Arreola KO's Adamek and then eats a burrito and drinks a corona during the post-fight interview to **** everyone off. It would be classic to see the kind of rants we'd see on this forum afterward

    Arreola TKO 7

Against (current day) Golota my mother's handspeed is fast.

I'm not talking about in comparison to Golota obviously. At a certian point more mass becomes detrimental to your power as is takes away from your speed. There is a ceiling for everybody and with Adamek over 220 is his imo.

If his body fat, speed, and conditioning are in order there's no worry about him weighing 225. I think he's got it in him.
