According to PAP (polish press agency) Tomasz Adamek will fight O'Neill Bell in April! The winner will face IBF champion Steve Cunningham. The fight will take place in USA

Somehow I doubt this happens. I'd be willing to bet that Bell flakes out again.

Very ballsy move for Adamek. He's probably going to take a beating in this fight, but best of luck to him.

Pretty sure I've seen Bell fight, just can't remember. Must have been so memorable, ya know? Don't think I've seen his fights against Mormeck.

So what are his strengths? Besides power, can he even box? Both he & Adamek have a 75" reach, so thats a good thing for Tomasz.

This Bell guy is the one that was handed a gift decision when he fought Dale Brown, correct?

Adamek will box circles around him.

Yeah, Adamek has to prove himself at 200 pounds.

Beating Bell would go a long way. Something says that even with the long layoff, Bell being the natural Cruiser will punish Adamek.

    Does O'Neil Bell even exist?

He's like Lord Lucan, have there been any confirmed sightings?

If he does prove to be in existence he'll win this fight

Adamek was not able to box circles around Briggs, who have only 71'' reach. His chin was too often his only defence, and I am afraid in cruiserweight this is not enough.

That's a valid point. Paul Briggs did hit him a lot, even in the rematch where Adamek was trying to outbox him. As much as I like Briggs, a guy like O'Neil Bell is much stronger and has proven himself against the best in the division.

Adamek knows he has to improve his defense at cruiserwt. or get killed. He's been working on it & says he is constantly moving his head & feet now. That, combined with his excellent boxing skills hopefully will spell a win for him.

It will be very interesting to see what happens. Should be on HBO or Showtime, right?

Bell has not been in the ring since he lost to Jean-Marc Mormeck last year. I don't know how much that will affect him, but Bell is the bigger and stronger fighter with a great chin and good power who has proved himself to be a top guy in the CW division. Bell is the favorite but Adamek is a tough dude so it's definitely an interesting fight. I think Bell wins by late TKO or UD.
