Adamek vs Bell signed!

What a great fight.

Bell has everything going for him except for activity. Adamek is the underdog here, but I am pulling for him to win and earn himself a titleshot within the next year.

Yes i think Adamek has what it takes.

Most people seem to think Adamek is smaller than Bell because he moved up but he is taller and has more reach and had took on the extra weight very well.He no longer looks so shredded but still has the same speed.

Bell loses focus and ****s around when the fight aint going his way.I think his run as the man(which lasted 1 fight)was a bit overrated considering his LOSS to Dale Brown leading up to that fight and the fact that Mormeck gassed the first time around.

Adamek has worked on his D since moving up and it showed a bit in his 2 fights at Cruiser(constant foot movement and rolling with punches).

This would be a very BIG win for Adamek especially since most people arent giving him a chance to win.

Actually, Adamek & Bell have the same reach @ 75". Checked today on Boxrec, & he's an inch or so taller, which is correct.

Dont know what fights you base all this skll off of but i have seen him in 3 Championship fights and he hasnt done anything that impressive especially when you consider the level of skill that Huck and Wlodarczyk presented.

 

I like both fighters but I am picking Bell by TKO in the mid or late rounds. Bell has fought the better opposition in the Cruiserweights. He can also box, has a sturdy chin and hits very hard (24 KOs in 26 wins).

I also read on max boxing that Bell is now being trained by Freddie Roach. I can't believe he is currently weighing only 178 lbs today and is loading up on carbs to balloon his weight up to 200 lbs.

 

I like Adamek and I hope you're right. I'd like to see Adamek win a get a title fight, but it will definitely be a very tough fight. Most likely an action-packed fight but at the end of the day I still see Bell winning probably by UD....but only time will tell.:hat

 

If Bell wins it will probably be by stoppage.

True....But I see a fight similar to the Paul Briggs fight. These guys are going to go toe-to-toe, trade punches and land bombs A LOT during the fight. I think it will a war and that would favor Bell IMO.

 

No way. Bell is no Briggs. Adamek has to move like a cat, continuously & box at the highest level he's capable of or he gets blasted out.

 

Adamek hasn't proven much at CW yet and hasn't looked amazing, but I think he will beat Bell fairly easily. Bell is overrated because of the Mormeck wars and those fights took a lot out of him.. plus he was never that good of a fighter to begin with. Adamek is the better boxer and the tougher fighter. He is also more motivated and active. Adamek by wide UD or maybe a late TKO if Bell is as past-it as I think he will be.
