It's amazing how much love a fighter gets after being in a popular brawl with another B level fighter. Bell is barely a top 10 cruiser, but people rate him at least as a top 5 one.

A KO win for Bell is possible (because Adamek likes to brawl and his defense isn't good like you said) and is his only chance since he's not a 12 round fighter, but I just don't think he's in good shape for a fight like this at this point of his career. Also, Adamek is the better overall fighter and Bell is far from a huge CW. So although there is a pretty big power advantage, I don't think the size advantage is that big. isn't Adamek was barely a natural LHW, because he had trouble making that weight. He would be natural in a 185 pound division.

Bell. But you can apply that to Adamek as well. He's more skilled and tougher mentally though.. the better overall fighter and more deserving of love. :D

This fight is not signed. There is a purse bid in the next few weeks to set up the eliminator.

He has gone through 2 training camps since then, he just flaked out on both fights at the last minute (once was the hatchet incident, the other time he just disappeared). I doubt ring rust will be as much of a factor as father time.

Not true. Adamek never had any problems making Lightheavyweight until he signed with King and started having huge periods of inactivity in his career. That is why he looked bad in the Briggs rematch and why he threw less than a good amount of punches against Dawson. He never drained himself until he was 29/30 years old and inactive because of King, so he is definitely a natural Lightheavyweight.

I havent seen Bell, but from what people are saying it looks it can be an interesting fight. I know I will be pulling for Adamek. He deserves another title, and it would be good for boxing to have champion like him.

    GO ADAMEK!!!!

Fight in Chicago. Teddy Atlas will be Adamek's trainer. Fight on HBO/SHO or ESPN.

And what about Andrzej Gmitruk? Let's hope that the Buddy McGirt story won't happen again
