To be real, either guy could have won. . . It was that close. . . It's just the fact that Eddie could not use his left hand after like round 3, makes you want to score more rounds for Eddie. I've watched it twice - first time I had it 115-113 for Chambers; second time I still had it 115-113 Chambers. . . But there were two "swing rounds" where you could easily have given the rounds to Adamek. But it really does make Adamek look kind of foolish to not be able to beat him more convincingly. . Eddie really looked fantastic.
I agree. . Adamek wasn't as accurate, but it's not like he didn't land his fair share of clean shots as well. . . People who are calling this a robbery DKSAB.
If you look at who looked busier each round, I think it was clearly Adamek. Eddie Chambers is the type of fighter you yell at the tv pleading that he throw more punches. however, I understand that he damaged his left arm in the fight, but he was scoring only in spurts. Actually, a lot like Pacquio did against Bradley. These kind of fights are hard to judge because it can go either way - the more effective guy vs the busier guy. Plus, Eddie had it against himself fighting in Atlantic City, where Adamek has built such a following. When the fight began, I said to myself that Eddie would have to beat him badly to get the win.
