It's pathetic that Adamek gets a shot (if this is true) because he has done NOTHING at Cruiser to warrant it.

Anyway, Steve is underrated and too strong for Adamek.

    Cunningham UD or late stoppage.

Unfortunately/ fortunately, many times you have to be a big draw in boxing. And your boy Cunny just doesn't fit the bill.
Adamek will have a strong following in MSG, and there will be **** loads of people. That's why he's getting the shot.

I agree with you, but the fact is Adamek is a ticket seller and will provide for an exciting fight. Also, it's not totally impossible that Adamek could win this, but unlikely.

I was crying earlier in this thread because I feel I deserve it more.:|
In boxing it doesn't matter what the hell you deserve, unfortunately.

We are now looking for someone to fight in an eliminator, that way I will have to get my shot or they get stripped. Maybe Rob Calloway, he has just won a bunch of trinket titles so he will likely move up in most of the rankings.

On a side note; Steve Cunni told my last opponent Nwodo that I wasn't worth the risk before his fight with Huck. I can say what I want because what are they gonna do, fight me, please do.:smoke

I said it before and I will say it again. A fight with Wlodarczyk will be your best option right now. Tell your ****ing promoter to jump on it! Its a fight that will definatly get you a higher ranking in all divisions of Cruiserweight, and a title fight.

This is how I think it should go down. Adamek v Cunninghamm FOR IBF.

Winner of Wlodarczyk v Ding gets title shot v winner of Adamek v Cunninghamm for the IBF title. Thats the best option for you I presume. Jump on Wlodarczyk!

Marco Huck is Steve's mandatory and its due May 2008. Last time I asked if you knew of an upcoming show that Wlodarczyk would be on in Poland or any where for that matter, and I can assure you, we will jump all over it.:good

    OMG the sky falling:shock:

As if this is uncommon in Boxing.

BTW he is rated at #6 by the IBF and #7 by the WBC.Just because he lost once on points doesnt mean he has to start all over.

Look for Cunningham to take 1 good right early and then procede to run and clinch for the remainder of the fight.

yea, Wlodarczyk called Enxzo out, but he declined. Wlodarczyk is wide open. All he needs is a pass and somone to tackle him. :hey

Again I stress, this is a bad fight for Adamek.

I found one article confirming this:

    http://15rounds.com/boxing/News/2007/10/cunningham-100707.php

"Cunningham to take on Adamek on Trinidad-Jones card on January 19 in NYC

    By Marc Abrams

Promoter Don King exclusively told 15rounds.com that IBF Cruiserweight champion, Steve "USS" Cunningham will make his first defense of his title against former WBC Light Heavyweight champion Tomasz Adamek on January 19th at Madison Square Garden as part of the undercard that will feature the much anticipated bout between Felix Trinidad and Roy Jones.

Cunningham 20-1 with ten knockouts ironically will making his defense against Adamek who is from Poland. Cunningham will his title against Krzysztof Wlodarczyk in Poland on May 26th.

Adamek, 32-1 with twenty-two knockouts, made two defenses of his crown until he dropped a unanimous decision to Chad Dawson on February 3rd.

He won his only Cruiserweight his only cruiserwight outing with a seventh round stoppage over Luis Pineda on July 9th in Poland"
