Adamek vs Cunningham II this Sat. night...Why doesn't anyone care???

Well, I'm getting psyched to see boxing on national TV, live.

 

1) he hasn't overachieved, dude. He's embedded himself as a limbo contender (able to beat those outside the top 10, but not able to hang with anyone of championship mettle) in a very weak division.

2) my only "agenda" is basically having taken the same initial reaction we both shared upon him moving up (your exact words: Nooooooo!) except gone in a different direction. You've stuck with blind unconditional loyalty and seem to have come around to the idea of him competing up there and made yourself believe it isn't so bad, whereas my patience got tried and ran out long ago. It isn't hard to figure out that you've only stood by him due to your shared national roots. I was probably just as big a fan of Adamek as you when he was a LHW/CW. His heavyweight career has been one big long fart in the fans' mouths. There is no agenda other than "Jesus, this sucks. Why didn't Adamek just stay at cruiserweight where he could still be involved in consistently exciting fights and have a shot at a real legacy...instead of this cringe-worthy money hunt..."

Chris Bryd uploaded this interview yesterday with USS talking about the Adamek fight, the rematch and his career in general if anyone's interested.

 

Steve Cunningham is getting his glass shattered tomorrow.

 

This looks like a solid fight. I'm glad boxing is back on national TV. The undercard fight could be the best of the night.

I became a boxing fan because of my dad. It has been a few years since we've watched a fight together. I'm looking forward to watching this with him tomorrow.

 

Cunningham is a cool guy, actually.

 

Adamek is very, very strict and cautious when it somes to money. He loves earning a buck from boxing. He should of stayed at cw, but theres not much money there, cept if your under German promotors, and Adamek wouldn't do that. Rather fight in front of Polish fans in the States at hw instead. This move obviously prolly took him a while to think about it he opted hw. Thats why he fights so often. Also ever wonder why he fights at 3PM now? Yea..this fight is on PPV in Poland...thats why..^^
