Yes, I met Adamek at a different gym in North Jersey a few yrs back. Same great, humble guy.

 

Axe, I almost fell off my chair when Scoop emailed me to tell me it made fightnews.com

But the didn't even mention my name! Still very good stuff to remember.

Well, I'm almost 5'-10" & Kownacki looks at least 4 or 5 " taller than me. He seems about the same height as Adamek.

 

After the press conf was over, they had food for all, fruits, the kielbasa was crazy, marinated mushrooms, etc. I'm standing right next to Adamek eating that other stuff & he's munching on blueberries & strawberries...God bless him. I can almost remember what is was like to be in training!

I couldn't believe that! Scoop emailed me & told me to ck it out. At least they coulda got my name in the article. They blew the text, saying Polish___ & nothing after that made sense. Oh well. Still a trip seeing it on Fightnews
