Adamek vs. Haye

Fighters who have a great chin, apply pressure and can punch are a what trouble Haye. Haye does have lapses in defense sometimes. So as the fight goes on adventually they can land, Fragomeni and Mormeck had a lot of success fighting with those attributes. But a boxer like Adamek no way.

I just cant see Adamek or any CruiserWeight beating Haye.

 

I would pick haye by KO round 5-7 adamek would be overwhelmed by haye.....and haye would also counter adamek at will.....very easy fight for david.....

 

Adamek has underrated speed and I think he is a very cagey guy actually. We all know he has an excellent chin. However, Haye displayed excellent boxing skills in the Mac and Mormeck fights. Destroying them both with vicious KOs. Adamek would have to seriously avoid those right hands otherwise it'd be night night. Noone can walk throughs bombs like Haye throws without damage.

 

adamek may have an excellent chin but haye hits like nothing he has ever experienced before and adamek is there to be hit. a margo-mosley situation with the iron chin being broken down by some obscene clean combos.

yeah, that must be why people think he's good. nothing to do with the fact that he was the undisputed CW champ, knocked out several ranked fighters, has obscene power etc.

Does Adamek have as good of a chin as Mormeck or Fragomeni? Probably not. Those two took numerous Haye power punches and dished out a lot as well.

Oneil Bell knocked out Mormeck but that is about it. Mormeck has a great chin.

 

Haye would knock Adamek out. Adamek doesn’t have enough defense to survive against Hayes power and speed.

 

In theory Adamek is made for Haye - upright European style with chin high up - to land heavy power shots.

On the other hand, Adamek takes a great shot, has a freakish pain threshold, can hang tough and can take a guy into deep waters. Especially one who gets quite winded in middle of fights, who would weaken himself making 200-pounds, like Haye.

Haye all the way. What people forget about haye is his range of punches. Adamek may have a great chin...BUt haye also punches deadly to the body. I duobt Adame would be able to take to many of hayes body punches. His stamina would also be sapped. I think Adamek might go gun ho on Haye and try and trade with Haye. Which definately wouldnt work

Haye would finish Adamek early... Adamek has no defence at all and leaves his chin out to dry. Easy win in my opinion. Adamek does appear to have a tough chin but as someone said earlier he hasn't been hit by anything like the power Haye has.

Whoever said Adamek wins because he throws straighter punches i advise you watch more of Haye and don't base your opinion on the Barrett fight

 

I go with haye 4-7 round.

 

Wish that limey ******* had stayed put so we could have had a FOTY unification at Cruiserweight instead of the pussyfooting "tale of two brothers" soap opera Haye's insisted on perpetrating at heavy. :twisted:

 

Haye comes out flashy for two rounds and then Adamek's straighter more compact shots start to do the work and he stops him and three or four. This is the kind of fight where someone is almost guaranteed to be knocked out and I give the big edge to Adamek who has shown a great chin as opposed to the chicken dancer Haye.
