seems like a fare even fight..id give adamek the edge due to the better chin and over all better boxing skills.,
Which weight class? I'll assume CW. Needless to say Haye. Haye has the edge in size difference, speed, power; he is just the better overall athlete. But it could easily go the other way due to Haye's inactivity.
I wouldnt question Hayes chin so much as maybe stamina. Either its a shutout for Haye or a bomb lands late/Haye runs out of gas and Adamek takes it. Im thinking it looks a lot like the Adamek/Dawson fight
As a polish I have to say Adamek would win, because of boxing skills and experience. Althought i like Haye's style too. To be honest if Adamek is able to take Andrew Golota's punches he will not have troubles with Haye's punches.
Adamek is tough and tenacious. He has good skills but he had to play catch up v Banks and never caught up v Dawson. I don't think he'd catch up with Haye. Especially when feeling that power.
Mentioning Haye's first loss, which was his 10th(?) fight doesn't mean anything. Haye went in there knowing that fighting an awkward customer like Thompson he would either have a convincing win or a defeat. Either way, the best thing that happened to Haye was that loss. Oh, and Haye to blast Adamek out of there in 5.
I won't disagree with you i was just referring to someone who said that no-one can take haye's punches, when Thompson obviously could.
I get ya mate. Haye hadn't developed his body into what it would become that early on in his career, and his jabs, hooks and 'cuts were far too loose. Though he has never mastered connecting in clusters, a problem that still follows him. It was evident with Thompson, through to and including Maccrinelli - just before he ko'd him, a lot of them power punches while Enzo was cornered were wild and wasted.
