Ye i agree with you there. He looses all composure when he has opponents in trouble. I'm not saying that he should back off when he has opponents hurt because hes dispatched most of his opponents quite handily but If he calmed down a bit and threw his shots more carefully and acurately he would be in a much better position to take opponents out when hurt, while also keeping a tighter defence and leaving himself less vulnerable to being countered. I see this being very important in determening his success at HW with the bigger hitters especially considering the questionmarks around his chin.

Fair enough and obvious thing to say considering hes the only person to defeat him, but the case with Haye i think is you only go the distance if he allows you, otherwise you have to knock him..which thompson did be it early on in Hayes career

fair enough with the opposition he had at criuser but what happens when he faces a legit HW that can take his shots. Does he blow his wad and gas like he did againts Thompson or will he be smarter next time and pace himself for the distance. I think he has a great killer instinct to jump on his opponents, but not the temprement to restrain himself if he cant get them out of there and he leaves himself wide open for counters. I'm looking forward to seeing to how he deals with this situation should it occour again at HW to see if he's learnt his lesson. Either way it still means an exiting fight so its a win-win situation for us fight fans.

Haye has fought against very limited opposition.. its hard to tell how good he is to say people only goes the distance if he lets them is just a joke thompson sure the hell didnt ask for hayes permission... he never gave him a choice and without help from the home ref he might not of made it out of the Mock fight.. Haye has not fought the best comp available at cruiser and virtually nobody at heavy washed up old fighters and never has beens has been his career so far.. Adameck is a better boxer and with the fine china haye has showed for his jaw he has a good chance of being stopped..
