Thing is Adamek isn't a big puncher at HW... he hits no harder than Ruiz at HW and speaking of Ruiz... Ruiz had only been stopped once in his career against a Prime Tua and Haye dropped him with the first right hand he landed so yes he does have a lot of power at HW. He also had Valuev's meat head spinning from his weaker left hand so it is safe to say he hits hard whereas Adamek landed everything on the vulnerable chin of Grant and didn't bother him.

Adamek is a busier fighter.... but he has also run out of steam in the back end of his recent fights. Also against Haye, Haye will land hard accurate straight punches whilst the stationary head of Adamek is coming in which will deter Adamek from being wreckless and will make him fight a more cautious boxing match at which point he may have some successes but with his defence will also be in some pain with Haye more than able to hit the target that Grant did on a more regular basis

oh, man  beautiful fairy tale but you should change your "will" for "woulda" and "coulda" cause your paper champ looks too scared to fight anybody from the top...

At first blush I would agree with you. But I'd also say that Adamek's seeming lack of power is a function of the style he adopted while fighting Grant and other big men in general. Most of Adamek's previous knockouts relied heavily on counterpunching at close range. Now, Adamek has adopted a style (hitting first from the outside, followed by much more movement to avoid getting hit) that lends itself to winning on the cards but is less exciting and less likely to score him a stoppage. Yes, Adamek hit Grant with many flush shots, but they were all either outside shots or lunging forward type shots, were power is sacrificed. Against Haye, I see Adamek fighting at close range (like he did at CW), going to war and winning. Styles make fights and Adamek would no doubt fight differently against Haye than he did against Grant.

Hey, everything you wrote is true. However the size advantage isnt big factor, because its about 1 inch in height and 3 inches in reach. I can say about Adamek that he has great timing and quick hands too. Man I believe that Adamek's timing is better than Haye's. All 3 knockdowns in the Cunningham fight were beacuse of very good timing and quick hands, and you have to remember that Cunningham is a very fast boxer (both hands and feet). And the knockdown in the fight with Banks, it was just a perfect timing. So both fighters have speed and timing.

What Haye does much better is the punching power and upper body balance. While Adamek has much better workrate and chin. Again both fighters have good footwork and its hard to pick one. I believe that the fight would go 12 rounds, and as Adamek is toughest and smartest :smoke he takes the close decision, probably not UD.

Very good a analyse. Its Adamek changing his style, when fighting bigger guys, just to outbox them. I like it :good

I think this match is much better at Cruiserweight. At Heavy I see haye winning. Adamek does not look like the beast he did at CW. Haye straight right hand would be able to control Adamek imo.

haha you think Haye will just let Adamek have his way with him?? you don't think somewhere within those 12 rounds haye is going to realize he has arms, is gifted with boxing ability and power and actually attempt to use it against Adamek? or he's gonna sit around like those other blobs that Adamek has been fighting and take punishment!!?? GET OUTA TOWN!!

Haye counter punches Adamek everytime he misses, with hard and fast accurate shots. Haye won't need to outbox Adamek, he'd hit him with enough blunt force to keep him away and cautious, Adamek no way outboxes Haye. He will get picked off time and time again. And if Haye had enough to put tough chinned Ruiz down with a 1-2, then surely it's enough to KO a former LHW when he lands power shots??

If this fight is so easy for Haye, then why is Haye the one that doesn't want it? Please don't say he'll make more money facing Audley....there's just too much ******ation and hatred of boxing in that statement...

How else can he make his argument? That's Haye's best fight at HW.

Haye has the most devastating straight right hand in boxing !!!!! , like him or not thats a fact .............

I think its good while it lasts , and Haye punishes him with quick hands , Adamek retires on his stool late on ............
