only significant fight of Adamek's career. He got whooped. And now he thinks he's in a position to negotiate?
Reality is you are on a different wave length.....hate. Very common symptom on ESB. Night night ***gol:hi:
Adamek= titles, gate $(in newark), foreign revenue Hopkins= name recognition, hbo Adamek-Hopkins= 50/50 split
Just that about every Brit here claimed Enzo as the best CW proves it. Just backtrack posts and you will see. Nothing against you bud, nor all Brits, just most of them that hyped Enzo to the max as the best next thing.
Factors mitigating against this fight: This is not a very winnable fight for Hops. (20 % chance at best). And the purse needs to be close to 50/50. Perhaps a slight edge to Bernard. Half a mil is totally laughable.
That fight was more significant for Dawson than Adamek. At that time Dawson was rather unknown and Adamek was considered as one of the best LHW. That win gave Dawson ticket to big fights ... Johnson, Tarver ... and since he can't fight anybody more significant ... Tarver II. Adamek after then had no less significant track with wins over Bell and Cunningham, gaining Ring title. Dawson other way gain bad reputation by ducking Diaconu and setting on the nonsense rematch with Tarver. The problem with HBO is that most customers are from US and they want to cheer their hometown boys as Dawson or Hopkins. The problem with Adamek is that he aint US hometown boy and HBO customers are not willing to pay Adamek for seeing the hard beating delivered to US living legend ... Thats not mean Adamek should take whathever they trow at the table ... the negotiations for Haye-Wlad were also long but they finally got settlement.
Actually you are wrong. Its noting bad that Brits are cheering their own hero. It just proves that they put a lot of attention to this division, and the fact Enzo got stretched again has nothing to do with British (even hypothetical) lack of acceptance for European domination in this division. GB is part of EURO .. as Pole you should know where your country boy plumbers are working Not to be shy but Haye was British too. If you don't agree probably then Poles cheering Adamek also don't accept Euro domination ... that sound like a nonsense to me.
