If Haye retires in October like he says, he will end up being an insignificant no body with zero legacy in the HW division. Not too many people will remember this at all, just remember Haye for wasting his time as a HW.

Even a complete moron like Chisora sees through Haye's thin HW record. Couldn't have said it better myself "If he wants to retire let him retire, whatever. Nobody cares. Boxing won't miss him, bon voyage" :deal

how times have changed, I remember not long ago Briggs giving Adamek hell and Dawson actually beating him, alas now Adamek has been manuevard into a shot at a klit please forgive me if I dont get too excited, but its all smoke and mirrors to me.

:yep That's quite an indictment coming from a fellow Brit.

    - Beat Briggs twice in a FOTY worth pair of fights
    - LHW Champ
    - Dominated CW division, with spectacular victories over Bell, Cunningham and Banks
    - When he makes the decission to move up to HW, no one gives him a chance, saying he's too small to be competitive. Seriously, the first time he said this on Showbox, people thought he was joking...no one took this seriously until he repeated his wishes.
    - Goes up to HW and fights at a ridiculous pace that hasn't been seen in some time, beating Golota, Estrada, Arreola, Grant and Madallone within the span of 18 months (while Haye gets a gift title shot vs Valuev and only has 4 fights in 30 months against arguably lesser competition overall).

Yes, Adamek has been maneuvered alright............. and in sharp contrast Haye, Chambers, Peter, Sosnowski, Austin, Thompson, Chisora etc. have all paid their dues.

Adamek lost fair and square to Dawson, but in a weight division that in retrospect should be clear, was too small for him. No shame in being outboxed by a guy like Dawson.

I also remember not too long ago, Wlad being knocked around left, right and center by crude fighters, journeyman and golfers.........and yet he managed to improve and become the undisputed champ. Fighters can change and improve. It doesn't necessarily mean smoke and mirrors.

Finally, out of all the current heavyweights, can you think of a more deserving fighter to have a title shot?
