u expect adamek to win yes, but given meehans height, reach and power it would be a great lead in to fight a klit. fighting peter would do nothing for him. he is fat and his style is nothing like a klit. meehan, although he doesn't throw his jab as often as the klits ( though not many heavies do ), he has a powerful jab and kali's reach would help adamek prepare for a klit. isn't that what he needs to have any chance against a klit?
I see you have hard on for Meehan, but he looked way worse than Travis Walker did, against Chagaev. His next performance against Quinns wasnt much better. Nothing in his last fight suggest he can give better test than Grant did. Adamek should fight Dimitrenko or Peter
u obviously haven't watched either fight. u would know against chagaev he was 2 years out of the ring and was improving as the fight went on and was as rusty as hell. and yes that's his own fault. quinn virtually stayed on the other side of the ring for the whole fight after getting tagged by kali. he was petrified. how do u hit someone who doesn't want to engage at all? at least be fair if u r going to knock the bloke. i'm not telling u to like him just be honest. not likely on here i suppose.
I watch the both of those fights. In Quinn vs. Meehan fight. Evans was entertaining with his showboating and dancing with ring card girls between rounds. Obviously I wouldnt know that, if I didnt watch the fight. Quinns looked talented in that fight and against Liachovick. He would have beat Meehan if he would have let his hands go more. He wasnt petrified in other side of ring, like you said. He was waiting and landing counter punches while evading Meehans shot. Talented guy but didnt keep busy enough work rate to win that match. But honestly Meehan would not offer any better test to Adamek, that couple of his previous opponents. If they would fight Adamek would stop Meehan late or get one sided decision. He should rather fight someone else.
Frankly, I do not think fighting any number of opponents resembling Klitschkos (not that that are many) would help him. He would be still small HW without devastating punch, with decent (but not great) speed... I would safely bet on either Klitschko by KO.
u r wrong. he was petrified. as soon as meehan tagged him once or twice he refused to engage because he would have ended up on his ass. if u watched it u would know that quinn was hurt a couple of times but ran like a girl and barely threw any punches. he would be ko'd by kali every time they fight unless he did the same thing, run. and how can he win if he doesn't throw punches? he was booed by the crowd for a reason. showboat if u wish, but at least fight your opponent in between. like billy dib vs luveno. dib used all fancy footwork, did a dance and other clever stuff but forgot to throw punches, then wondered why he didn't win, lol.
