That's true, because you've essentially got to prove yourself twice- once to do well enough to restart in the US, and then giving up the secure paydays in your homeland to try and build yourself up again once you've arrived in the US. Adamek's Polish contingent helped ease the transition by giving him a built in audience, but that still doesn't mean I give him any less credit for making the move.

Its gonna be BJ Flores, that is if he wins.

BJ has a fight this month and its gonna be a warm up vs some tomato can I presume, and than im sure he will fight Adamek next month.

He probably didn't make a big payday, but Adamek was smart to fight on Versus. Personally, after watching that I will make a real effort to see him everytime out, and a few of my buddies feel the same.

All great fights I see Adamek winning all of them expect the rematch with USS I think Cunningham would take Adamek in a rematch.

If Admaek is a true champion, he will give Cunningham a rematch! Their fight was a foty candidate.

I'd guess it's Flores since it's such a short timeframe, although I'd love to see him fight Guillermo Jones.

I think if it were Cunningham it wouldnt be on such short notice.

Already about a month and a half away.

BTW this activity is exactly why Adamek broke away from King. All he ever wanted from King was to keep him busy.Main Events is catering to him.Looks like King did the same **** with Steve and probably will continue to do so before USS ends up being pissed off himself.

Same here. I also gotta say, I like the concept of Versus' fight nights. I'd rather see relatively under the radar title fights infrequently to see guys who don't get a ton of exposure than to keep my fingers crossed hoping a hidden gem of a fight happens to make the low budget for FNF's.

Fight Night on Versus started off with a bang. The main event on the series debut was Pavlik/McKart in an NABF title fight. After that it fell off; reruns, mismatches, et. Adamek/Cunningham was a great step back in the right direction. I hope they can hold that kind of quality, even if we only get one show a month.

I wouldn't mind him getting an easy tuneup against Darnell Wilson and going into a rematch with Cunningham. Cunningham or Jones will be fine.
