Adamek should dominate Toney, possibly stopping him but Toney probably makes it all 12. The version of Toney that moved up to heavyweight in 03 would absolutely beat Adamek but this version is completely shot and has almost no chance. Adamek has always been a classier heavyweight so I'm a little surprised he's taking this fight. I don't like the fight and would prefer Adamek face someone else but I don't have the anger over it that some do since Toney is a grown man and this is his decision. Its understandable that Adamek takes an easier fight on this date since he probably gets the Dec 22 fight on NBC, this is a true stay busy fight and its good he stays busy. It would have been better though if he fought someone who wasn't so old, fat, and shot.
x2. Toney is old, fat, and his late weight fluctuations (60 pounds down in a couple of months... than almost 50 pounds up in 5 months) could only make his health&condition worse. One may argue Adamek is basically doing what most other contenders do (and this is more or less true), but that only shows how bad HW is nowadays. Top fighters won't fight each other because either they are brothers (at least it is good excuse), or they are scared of Klitschkos (and each other as well)... or they are so weak they do not risk fighting anyone decent because they could lose.
Adamek by a ud, a boring fight and i dont understand why his management puts him in with toney who lost bad to a cw
Toney will counter Adamek all night long but Adameks work rate will win him some rounds. Toney by close UD
