I'm aware I'm beating a dead horse but holy ****, was this an abysmal performance in front of his home crowd. Adamek lost every nanosecond of every round, got wobbled by every power punch, KDed 1,5 times and later on put on ***** street by ****ing jabs of a 40 years old heavyweight who could afford walking through the ring in slow motion because he'd hit Adamek whenever he wanted wherever he wanted.

In fact, it looked like Vitali could've ended the bout as early as round 2 but was afraid of a second Solis (not talking about a rematch but a second consecutive short fight which would've infuriated the audience yet again) and therefore carried the ridiculously overmatched Adamek for as long as he could. He probably would've carried him even longer had Adamek not been on the verge of losing his consciousness by Vitali's jab in the later rounds.

Unworthy championship contender who was overrated all along because of his "heart" or rather his ability to block punches with his face without going down (at lower weights I might add). Brilliant ****ing boxer, really. Haye ridicules him (even at CW), Helenius does a Liakhovich on him, Wlad gives him AIDS with his jab.

I included Wlad's resume in this because I'd have to actively boxrec who was close to as bad as Adamek if I only examined Vitali's record. So I'm being kinda generous there, no?

Back to CW or retire, Tomasz. You are simply crap at HW.

Great ****ing contribution to the topic, fool. I'm perfectly aware of Vitali's capabilities but this is about Adamek - if Vitali is just "that good" why did even freaking Sosnowski fare SIGNIFICANTLY better than Adamek? How could Solis deal more damage in 2:50 seconds than Tomasz in 10 rounds?

Again, I'm not intending to discredit Vitali's win but I do want to pull Adamek into the mud because he was garbage of almost unprecedented proportions.

    Mormeck will be 10x worse.

(and it isn't just because he's shot; Adamek would have beaten Mormeck even when they were at their respective CW best :deal).

Vitali is good, no questions about that but yes, Adamek is just bad. He wasted everyone's time. Chagaev did better and you guys remember how well Chagaev did vs. Wlad.

Yeah, there's good chance Adamek will soon be kicked off his "throne" by Mormeck as the worst Klit opponent of the past 5 years but in contrast to Tomasz everybody expects Mormeck to be blown out.

Arreola was obese against Adamek and hurt his hand early in the fight. 230lbs Arreola surely defeats Adamek and btw. do you think Adamek fared better than Arreola in Nov. 2009? Did you see Cris stumble through ring after eating a jab?

i do think adamak is being dealt with a little harshly here..against any other heavyweight he would hold his own..but just because he lost to vitali does not mean he isnt a good hw.surly that has to be decided on future opponents...the problem was for him and haye they both did not fight top heavyweights.arreolla was wildly out of shape it was embaressing and for haye valuev is just ****...nothing they done in the hw scene could have prepared them for what they wer facing...how about we judge tomaz over his next few fights..and if he loses to more top heavys then yes ill agree with you....i do agree vitali carried him past round 2 tho he just couldnt take vitalis power for some reason lol

Not the worst opponent just the biggest mismatch.

Adamek had not the size, the reach, or the power to trouble Vitali at all. Without at least one of those attributes, no Klitchko opponent stands a chance. It's a styles thing.

What Adamek does well is outbox guys around his size.

Tomasz Adamek accomplished more as a fighter than all of Vitali's opponents since his comeback. 2 weight world champion, 3 time foty candidates and former ring magazine champion.

they tried hyping him as a great opponent, but, the truth is, he has been a lousy heavyweight

No Hasim Rahman was the worst Opponent in the last years but Mormeck is a real contender for that title

I agree that Adamek is highly overrated. Mainly because of the lack of competition in CW and HW. The best of the bad, so to speak.
