No one is ****ing impressed by your "goral" bull****. Why not just post "Hey, I'm Polish! Look at me everyone! I'm POLISH! Look at MEEEEE!!" instead. That said, war Adamek. He's a hell of a fighter (though he got tooled by Dawson).
Adamek vs Byrd is stylistically bad fight for Adamek. It might have end like the one with Dawson. However Adamek is much better boxer now, so it would have been a close fight in my opinion with Byrd having the stylistical advantage in that fight. Adamek vs prime Ruiz? Comfortable Adamek's UD. Ruiz's style is suited for Adamek. True. Adamek is a big underdog, but he was the one in the past (Briggs and Cunningham fights). If somehow Adamek wins I see lots of ESB "experts" saying how bad Vitali was that night (instead of saying the truth that Adamek was that good). Vitali may get older in that fight, because of his age and Adamek's performance. TBH I dont understand Adamek's fans who dont give him a chance. Even fat Solis was able to land on Vitali, Sosnowski lasted 9 rounds... Adamek is on different level than Solis and Sosnowski.
I feel VK is a bit overrated due to facing such opponents like Sam unga bunga Peter,Shannon uffs and puffs from the 1st round Briggs.. Vitali has all the advantages he can have against Adamek but Adamek will never give up. A guy with such heart to fight will always give some trouble.
I have no doubt Adamek has heart and boxing needs more like him. But in reality he has little more than a slight chance to win, anything can happen. But Vitali actually has less wear on his tires than Adamek 280+ pro rounds, Vitali 210 ish rounds. Vitali has far more experience in these big fights, also a natural heavyweight his entire career between 232 and 252, never out of shape, neither is Adamek but he's a blown up HW, not a natural HW, all fights between 174 and 220. Vitali will never let him get inside, if he does he will be tied up, I fully expect Vitali to potshot him round after round and not worry about any KO, Vitali lately has seemed angrier in the ring and what that translates into is he's fine to just pound your ass for 12 rounds and if the KO comes, it does, but he doesn't seem to be looking for it anymore. I don't think this guy has lost more than 4-5 rounds period since coming back in 08', he's still dominant at 40, he's never taken much punishment, the most he ever took was against Lennox Lewis and when the fight was stopped he was up 4 rounds to 2, but that eye was messed up and that was a decent stoppage, Lennox knew that was a tough fight once he got in it, and he outweighed Vitali. He also chose to retire versus try it again. Adamek I fully expect to be game and never quit, but I see the cards being 119-109, maybe 118-110 and Adameks face to be quite swollen at the end. That being said, he still has a chance because he gets the fight, I'm looking forward to it and I expect a war, may be lopsided on the cards, but so was Guerrero-Katsidis last weekend and that was a damn good fight.
The only chance (20%) Adamek has is to make Vitali injure himself, that about it. Vitali himself said after Solis fight that his only worries these days are injuries.
I really think that Adamek can't beat either Klitschko! And I think he would lose to Haye by ko in fact Haye would ko him early just bad style matchup for Adamek! Klitschko's would stop him late!
Zywiec is 350 meters above see level, which is not exactly mountains IMO. It is however very close to the real ones, so I do not want to split hairs over it.
Absolutely, and Tomasz is a lot faster than 250+lb Solis and he has a much better chin than Sosnowski. Even if he himself isn't from a góral town, might his parents be górale? And IIRC the gym he first trained at was something like "Góral Żywiec"
Saying that Adamek will beat Vitali is too strong, but he of course may beat him. I believe that Adamek will be the most dangerous opponent for Vitali since many years. As Vitali has fought mostly fat slobs (Peter, Arreola, Briggs, Solis) or no-hopers (Kevin Johnson, Sosnowski). Adamek's fight may be somewhat similar to Vitali-Byrd. But Vitali is older and slower now, so it should be more competetive. Zywiec is near mountains, but Gilowice (Adamek home village) is in Zywiec Beskids (Beskid Zywiecki). Zywiec Beskids is the second highest range in Poland, after the Tatra Mountains. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BBywiec_Beskids http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beskid_Żywiecki
Sasha would have been a good nickname for David Haye there for a while. Obscure reference on request. Also, size matters here. Vitaly comes to the ring in peak shape. He reminds me of a SMW in terms of proportion. That is why Adamak outpointed Arreola and Vitali destroyed him.
I am sorry but Adamek has no chance. He can not hurt Vitali with a punch nor can he outbox him. And I like Adamek. Would much rather see Adamek Vs Haye. Lease then one of them would have a chance to win. Adamek will start the fight slow. Get tagged by some jabs. Realize the difference. Eventually try to jump in to only get check by a hook that puts him down. Gets up. Stays outsdie moving. More jabs. A few body shots. Maybe landing a few of his on on counter punching the body shots. If he comes in around the 8th or 9th he gets KO from jab, straight left, hook.
Goral is his nick.. why would it be unusual to call him by that? I give Adamek chances on beating Vitali. I also think Vitali is a bit over rated. Sure he battered Briggs, and beat Sosnowski, and beat on Arreola all night. But how live were those fighters? Honestly? They all stood infront of Vitali and tried to land some bombs. This will be a much different looking fight then the previous.
I'm in the camp that likes Vitaly a little better than his brother because he is more a natural fighter. Vitaly is very relaxed in the ring. Adamek is just too small and not nearly fast enough to make up for the size difference. The only thing that would really help him is if he had ungodly long arms or something. I'm afraid he will find his 'cheen' will be more a liability in this fight because it will only mean he absorbs more of a Briggs like beating.
