Firstly good win for Adamek. I was pretty nervous at the beginning of the match but he fought well. It was a really good fight to watch.

One thing that had me at the edge of my seat was his foot work. He was off balance the whole fight trying not to get caught. I was hoping like hell Arreola didn't land a hay maker while Adamek was moving away. His feet were a constant tangle. Probably he is not used to big heavies coming at him like arreola did. His punches were pretty crisp but I thought he lacked power to stop arreola in his tracks due to his foot work. Only a couple of times during the match did he have a good stance while throwing punches. I think if thats the only thing he works on he will be twice as good next fight.

His footwork was good enough to keep him vertical. He even showed better head movement, making Arreola miss alot.

He's got what it takes to compete with the big boys. He simply has to fight SMART @ HW & thats what he showed us last night.

He had me question if he was gonna stay on his feet, at least half a dozen times. Arreola would nail him, he'd start to act stunned, backup, and somehow, survive several tense moments. Tough guy.

But I also doubt Adamek has as much power, as was hoped. He never even seemed to discourage Arreola from coming forward, much less, stun or stop him. I know Arreola is a hard headed SOB, but he's just a man, and Vitali had Arreola backing up and ready to fall. So he can be clocked and stopped from coming forward, but Adamek, is not going to be much of a KO puncher at heavy, I don't think.

But he did manage a great win............Adamek is a great fighter, with very fast hands, and very effective footwork .......very tough guy with good conditioning who'll outbox and out move all but the top four heavies.......maybe all but the top three.

    His footwork lacked sole.

That wardrobe malfunction must have had a real affect upon his balance; I know it would have wrecked my movement.
