That's a relief, I figured that my increased ESB time over the last month or so was the catalyst for the drop in quality.

That sucks. Hermit was a quality poster, but I'm not going to be leaving for good (really just because I do picks for Kirk's boxing thread and It would be rude of me to leave in the middle of the season) but I probably won't be posting as much as I did in the past.

 

Farmober just proved to me once again that he's a f4cking racist. Adamek barely won the fight. See if a white fighter barely won a fight over a black fighter, farmboxer will say a white fighter won that fight. But if it's a black fighter that barely beat a white fighter, farmboxer will say a black fighter got a gift decision. The black fighter choose the judges, the refs and all that garbage.

What was there to call it 'barely won'. I would rather say 'clearly won'. Tough fight though. Dont care about the fighters color, just enjoy great fighters.

Adamke can't beat the Klit brothers or Haye. They are too big, and have too much reach. I commend Adamek for moving to heavy, and in a weird kind of way he's the Caucasian James Toney with a bit less skill... Adamek is good enough to compete with some guys at heavy, but not good enough to beat the real HW champions of the world!

Klits are way bigger, its obvious. But Haye? As I said earlier comparing that they are fighting in the HW division the size difference is none. 1 inch in height, 2-3 inches in reach and 3-4 pounds. Adamek's problem with fighters like Klits will be to avoid the jab and reach the jaw. With Haye that problem doesnt exist...

 

Adamek's money punch is his straight right- it's one that doesn't translate well against a guy with a significant height advantage.

Let's not forget, Haye is the exact same height as Steve Cunningham, and we've seen Adamek land that punch with great effectiveness against USS.

 

Not to mention that once haye can't use that hunched over and then dart in with the lead right, then he will resort to his winging shots which adamek will sidestep and counter. Tomasz will also be able to land those short one two's up the middle on gaye. hell, ruiz was hitting haye with the right and he can't punch ****. Adamek KO's the mouthy brit ala hatton style.

 

Good call. I noticed that the short right hand didnt work against such big guy like Grant. In the Grant fight, left hook was Adamek's best punch. While fighting Haye, Adamek can catch him with both hooks or the short right hand.
