If Hopkins fights Adamek as he did vs. Pavlik he will be knocked out then. Even tho Adamek is losing on scorecards and also in the ring, he's unpredictable - look at Dawson fight, knock down altho Adamek is being outboxed. Besides I DON'T believe Adamek will repeat the style from Dawson fight. I'd rather guess it may look like Cunningham fight with bigger Hopkins' advantage, but I don't know how B-Hop will behave if some punch lands on his head. Remember in Adamek's corner there is Gmitruk who sees everything in the ring, can give him a nice advice. You can compare how Adamek fights with Gmitruk and without him (Gmitruk - all fights in CW, McGirt - Dawson fight). I think there's a diff.

We will see, I hope that 'Mountain Boy' will win.

If Hopkins looks at the Dawson fight as a schematic, so to speak, he will be making a huge mistake. Adamek was dehydrated and weak during the entire fight and didn't throw as many punches as he usually does. This is the reason for the change in weight. This is a much more natural weight for Adamek...as a result, his chin is better and his punches are heavier.

He will knock out B-hop if they do meet at cruiserweight later this year.

Remember how much trouble Hopkins had with Taylor. He is not suited to fighting bigger, physical, active fighters at this point in his career. Adamek also hits much harder than Taylor, is stronger, and a natural crusier. Styles make fights and Adamek is not going to sit and wait for the perfect shot like Pavlik did and let Hopkins pick him apart at a slow pace. He is going to up the tempo and beat him all over his body until he falls. Just like Marciano-Moore.

If Adamek pulls out a victory over Hopkins,I would love to see Adamek and Dawson go at it again but at cruiserweight.Dawson seems to have trouble getting big fights at lightheavy and if Dawson can add the weight on,it would be an attractive alternative you would think.

Muriqi and Woods? I think you mean Tarver was coming off those wins before he fought Chad Dawson, not Bernard.

Also he will not be fighting Adamek above 190. He's coming into the fight no more than 185.

I don't see why you would say the fight will probably never happen. The fight is pretty much a done deal for July 11th except for the "official announcement" which will be coming soon.

Keep hoping for your dream of Bernard getting stopped because it will never happen.

Obviously you're a hater of him and cannot be reasonable on the subject.:smoke

I think size could play a role, plus stamina. Adamek is a legit CW now. BHOP is light years above the Pole in terms of skill. However, the Polish fighter can pop!

There is not much of anything at 175 for Chad as far as big fights. If he can't make weight to fight top fighters at 168 it will be hard for him to get any fights. I think it would be too soon in his career to move up though. After the Johnson fight Chad said he had no problem with 168 if that's where the bigger fights were out. Hopefully that's true because that would be another big addition to 168.

True, but Adamek's gotta be able to hit him! lol...I don't think Adamek ever belonged at LHW. Apparently he walks around at about 205 so he does not blow up real big for fights after the weigh-in.

And for some reason, you think Adamek will go the whole fight w/o landing a meaningful punch?

    Man....when you fanboys exaggerate...

I did not say he wouldn't but most of his punches are not going to connect very solid and a lot of steam will be rolled off them. Seriously though, if you counted all the solid punches Bernard has ever been hit with in his career, it would be less than most fighters get hit with in one fight.
