I wish Adamek took the Pulev fight. I still believe it's possible to make (Adamek said so in one of polish interviews). No matter what, I still have nothing but respect for Tomasz, his dedication to the sport was highly inspiring. I really wish he's not over yet.

Mago got knocked down by a shot to **** Jameel McCline. Adamek would annihilate that joke.

No way to beat wlad the first right punch or hard jab and adamek can go sleep adamek is not the one dat can beat wlad sry

  4. McCline was in his greatest shape since his Samuel Peter fight. McCline was sparringpartner for Wlad before the Wach fight, which was after the Mago fight! Everyone who says McCline is shot, has no idea.
McCline was ill against Arreola .. let them fight today, Arreola doesn't stand even 8 rounds.

Mago doesn't have a glass jaw .. apparently, his jaw is wood .. good wood of a German oak. You need a lot of power to crack his chin .. McCline doesn't have power?? He had Samuel Peter down, he broke Szpilkas chin and knocked down Mago.

McCline would eat all those Wilder's and Price's and Fury's (Hughie) for breakfast.

And he would knock out Adamek .. Walker is way below the level of McCline and he had Adamek down.

Now imagine what Mago does with Adamek or Walker .. way faster win by Knockout.
    Hardest hitting boxer nowadays, definetly.

  5. No .. definetly not.

McCline is shot lol.. just because Wlad sparred with him before Wach doesn't change that. He can't beat anyone decent where as at his best he was a top 15-30 HW with some decent wins. McCline couldn't even beat crappy journeyman Harold Sconiers for crying out loud! Saying that McCline would beat Adamek, hughie, Price etc makes you lose all credibility really, that guy isn't even a top 100 HW anymore.

anyways. stop hyping that bum Mago while trashing good fighters

Sounds good. Chagev-Ortiz should fight for the right to face Adamek for that WBA title.

Guinn is a gatekeeper but has lost 3 of his last 4. Adamek wants the honor of being the 1st to KO him.

McCline is still a top 100 HW. Quite probably a top 50. I wouldnt pick a guy like Audley to take him, and with his size and power, he'd cause trouble to several other top 50s and even a couple top 30s.

My critique of your post though has more to do with the highlighted sentence.

A top 15-30 HW. The guy fought in 3.....yes 3 HW title fights. He has wins over several top 10 fighters and was one point on one judges scorecard from being the HW Champion of the World.

His wins over prime Briggs, prime Grant, Al Ice Cole, prime Whitaker, prime Boswell, and a host of stay busy/comeback fights have kept him relevant in the division for a period spanning 3 decades.

Yeah, Mago got him with a phantom shot, but he proved against Szpilka and Mago that even though he's slowed, his power and his grit is still there.

I'd like to see him make the journeyman rds myself, staying fit and active, earning some dough and shwoing the fighters under his charge what it takes to get there, and from there, his boys can find out how to go farther even.

McCline IS a Champ who was never crowned.:deal:deal:deal

The **** is wrong with some of you

    Is adamek a champion?

Does he have any obligation to fight anybody?

The man is old and past it, and has earned the right with his sweat and blood to take as many of these 'gimme' fights as he wants.

I could understand the bitching if he was holding a belt, or if he was constantly talking **** about being ducked or something.... but :patsch

The guy is literally making his living by fighting, with clear knowledge he cant compete against the true top fighters of a division hes too old and too small for, and everyone including himself knows that these fights are what they are (paychecks)

Hes earned the right to live a bit off the name he built.

    This ****ing place  :patsch

Hmm Tommo we're usually on the same page :D

Lots of wide views in this thread besides Adamek (Mago, McCline) :p
Haye is surely top 10, maybe top 5. Before his fight w/Wlad I gave him an outside "punchers" chance to upset Wlad. IMO his performance was decidedly underwhelming.
    Only
if Wlad starts showing some age and Haye shows up better than in their 1st fight will he have a reasonable chance of pulling out a win.

Prime Adamek, if he could navigate past the early rounds, beats Haye.
    Not now.

Lots of people got robbed against Byrd man, but McCline was definitely a solid HW in his prime I won't deny that but come on. he's beyond shot now and definitely isn't a top 50 HW now, he lost to Harold Sconiers for crying out loud :patsch

Yeah, he did lose to Sconier who sat in his chest banging away at his arms. He admits he wasnt prepared to fight more than a couple rds and when Sconeirs didnt go away or let him get off, he simply withdrew.

A refocused McCline has gone on to give Szpilka a very tough fight, and also managed to stun the world when he sent Mago reeling, grasping his jaw.

I could name several fighters in boxrecs top 50 who McCline would beat, and rather handily.

    Edmund Gerber
    Seth Mitchell
    Lucas Browne
    Neven Pajkic
    Audley Harrison
    Martin Rogan
    Andrejz Warzwyk

All firmly rooted in the top 50 and all but maybe 3 of em manage to leave the ring on their feet.

Let McCline line these guy up in consecutive fights, even at age 44, and he'd get yet another crack at the HW title.:yep:yep:yep
