Has anybody seen any articles on how he went from Light Heavy to Cruiser to Heavyweight? He has looked pretty natural at all these weights (albeit small compared to most modern heavyweights) I would be interested to know how he did, through diet training etc.
i think naturally Adamek is a cruiser, small heavy. when he was at LHW, he was freakishly big. he doesn't seem like someone who would have struggled to have bulked up!
if you see the size of his neck against Briggs [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0YrXqX7vLRc[/ame] and look at it agianst Arreola [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpsm-pacu6M[/ame] I think he did a bit more than eat an extra wheetabix for his breakfast
nah he looks bigger round the waist and biceps. typical places when you are adding weight. also nothing is absurdly out of proportion he looks pretty normal and doesn't have much fat on him. so i don't think he is on anything. he has filled out well This content is protected This content is protected
What did you expect? The body doesnt "spot" put on weight. It gains weight evenly. I used to have a 14inch neck when i was in my late teens. I was also a lithe 169lbs. My neck is 19inches now and i weigh 240lbs. Theres no special formula. Additionally Adamek was a massive LHW who struggled to make 75. For him to move up a few more lbs isnt some amazing feat of science. The guy is an athlete and trains every day of his life. He simply ate more and is obviously closer to his walking around weight.
Moorer was also another guy who struggled to make 75. He on the other hand completely ate himself into a heavyweight. The difference being his lack of dedication to training which saw him turn into a tub of lard.
Obviously he is bigger everywhere else as well but I just pointed out neck size as it is very noticeable. Not trying to cause an argument or suggest he is on anything he shouldnt be, but obviously he has changed his training up and I wondered if anybody had any info on it. He has obviously done it well as he doesnt just look like a fat cruiser. I remember Haye saying how he changed his training when he moved up to heavyweight for the barrat fight.
Knowing Haye he probably halved his roadwork. He hates doing it anyway. Plus Haye ate himself into a heavy. When he turned pro he was a slim cruiserweight without much musculature. Even when he was an am he struggled to stay at heavy and had to eat his weight in gold. Id hazard a good guess that Haye could still make 200lbs right now with no trouble.
