In Feb 07, Adamek weighs in 174 against Dawson.

Just 4 months later, in 06/07, he weights 198 against Pineda

For his first fight at heavyweight against Golota, Adamek on 15 more pounds in 3.5 months (214.5).

What was Adamek doing at 175 for so long? Is Tomasz' natural weight cruiser or is he better off fighting at 210-220?

He's a natural cruiser, cutting a lot of water weight to make 175.

Natural Cruiserweight. He was killing himself making 175.

Which begs the question of what would happen if he got a rematch vs Dawson at CW. I won't argue that he could outbox Dawson, however, I think what happened vs Cunnigham has a good chance of repeating itself against Chad.

Really depends if Dawson could keep his speed and power at that weight. When Dawson has his speed and power against Adamek he wins every time, because he's the real deal. Personally, I think a fight between them can never be fair anyway. At 175 Adamek isn't 100%, and at 200 Chad is probably not 100%.

Actually Dawson is a BIG lightheavy too, it might benefit Dawson at cruiser more than TA.:think

I think matching his success with his current weight, we can basically conclude that he had no business being at 175, especially against such a lion in Dawson.

Adamek is the type of guy who is a real kiss ass. He moves up in weight fights contenders, and woo's fans instead of doing the smart thing moving up and calling out for an immediate Title Shot!

Honestly Adamek almost looks to be fighting more naturally at heavy.

Yeah, but Dawson has no chance of making that weight, cause he's just a wire. As for Adamek at HW, I'm slightly concerned about him trying to consistently fight guys who are really 2X as big. This was very evident vs Arreola even though the two were at virtually thesame height. Think about the size disparity he will face vs Grant. His saving grace so far has been his ring intelligence, better than avg speed and cheen. Still, i think his most ideal division is CW, but we can all understand why he packed up his bags and left for greener pastures. I still can't believe Showtime rejected Adamek-Cunningham II and HBO wouldnt pick it up. Total fools.

Adamek's best fighting weight in his prime years wld be 185lbs, only problem is there is no division for that weight apart from the 200lb CW

balh blah blah, everybody knows he is natural 175lb,
the roids made him look taller than Arreola, don't be surprised
he will look taller than Vitaly Klitchko later this fall.
