It's also the same money that Martinez made against Cotto.

What kind of "adviser" keeps his network undercard fighter out of fights where he'd make as much as PPV B-sides?

Very good chance are, you won't even be here after Maidana/Mayweather, or if I lose, I won't be here.

    What's the point? :rofl

They're negotiating, have you guys ever heard of this?

Haymon wants all the advantages he can get.

This is why Haymon fighters are paid the most out of everyone in the sport.

    :deal

The kind of advisor who's looking out for his best interests rather than his fighters

How does Haymon benefit from this fight not being made?

Hes gonna make, what? 10% of Quillins purse..maybe more?

Thats approx 150k, he wont make if Quillin doesnt sign.

Unless they're got some other fight up their sleeve, I dont see why Quillin wouldnt sign.

Even if he loses, hes never going to make this much again probably.

Alsdo, giving up the belt is the one reason he gets any decent cheques at all.

    Its all very strange.

It is strange. But, boxing politics and power plays are strange.

As we speak, I'm sure Al is still working the WBO over, trying to get them to grant an exemption to unify the belt with Jacobs' WBA title instead of stripping Quillin. That way he can be assured of getting that fight done with two belts on the line. If the WBO bends, they won't be doing it for free...

The fight I'd really be concerned about if Quillin drops the title is Soliman-Taylor. If Al is forced to give up the WBO belt, he's going to double down his efforts to snag Sam's belt. If Sam wants to leave with his title, he'd better not let it go the distance.

The purse split is set by the WBO, and Qullin gets 75%.....if he signs. There is no wiggle room there.

Garcia fought Matthysse because of the WBC.
They wanted to fight Lamont Peterson and picked Peterson to beat Matthysse.
Stop acting like Danny did everybody a favor by fighting his mandatory.
Your hip hop swagfags are a f*cking joke.
    Kid Undercard didn't sign ****.
