No **** you idiot!! You must be an amateur of MMA to just figure that out!! Hahaha I applaud you good sir!
Cycle of a wrestling denier 1) Mock the ability of a wrestler to win the fight 2) Talk about how their opponent will knockout them out before they can get the fight to the ground 3) Mention should the fight somehow go the ground then their opponent's superior grappling will deny the wrestler victory 4) Claim their opponent has good enough takedown defense due to successfully blocking a non-wrestler's takedown defenses or training recently with a wrestler 5) Watch Fight 6) Start bitching out the wrestler laying and praying their way to a victory over a 'real' fighter 7) Mock another wrestler's ability to win a different fight
Fitch beat the **** out of BJ in the third of their fight. If he hand more power, he would have gotten him out of there. Guida just held Pettis down and dry humped him. I find it mind-boggling that he was being cheered. MMA scoring blows. The guy who was actually trying to finish the fight lost every round.
Fitch gets too much credit for that third round. He made no attempt to improve his position or change tactics once it was clear that as always weak ass ground and pound wasn't going to finish his opponent. And this was in a fight that he had lost the first two rounds! Fitch should have been looking to pass, take Penn's back, etc, etc. Guida didn't much from top because Pettis has a much more active guard than Penn, and was always looking for submission or to control him. He did great to avoid the submissions and maintain the dominant position but more importantly he was always looking to improve his position. He was clearly looking to pass guard and when he had the chance moved quickly to take Pettis back even though the fight was won.
Touche, Cycle of wrestling supremacist, 1) X has never fought a wrestler 2) X only beat wrestlers, A and B, who were always flawed, he has never faced a wrestler of Z's quality
I actually enjoyed seeing someone attack from their guard rather than lay in it getting dominated all fight. Why don't all bjj 'black belts' do this?
Hmmmm I may have missed one 8.) Ignore the fact that X had just been taken down and controlled for an entire round in his previous fight, had failed to safely establish or maintain top control in the fight before and in the fight before that had been swept from the bottom by a non-wrestler
i hope pettis still gets the title shot after **** snooze fest of a fight in my eyes guida didnt nothing to deserve it
This is why we believe this: Dan Henderson Jon Jones Cain Valquez Frankie Edgar Georges St-Pierre Cole Konrad Ben Askren Eddie Alvarez Joe W. Gilbert Melendez All of these men are current world champions who have phenomenal wrestling.:good
Der that was a boring fight bro hahaha lay and pray be boring bro hahaha der................................................................
You know, that's what I love about MMA, it's all about position control, sweeps, staying on top of a guy, none of that striking or submission attempts bull****.
