    Holy sheep **** Batman! :admin

That kid must have steel in his face. You can tell Mares has some power and this kid just walks through EVERYTHING. Tough hombre.

I think it's more Mjares' feathers in his fists. He couldn't crush a grape with his Sunday best.

If this was a 15 round fight, no doubt he would of gotten KO'd

Not a granite chin, but a very good one. He's a very tough guy.

He clearly doesn't have earth shattering power since he never even put Marchiano on his back, but feather-fisted is a streeeeeeeeeeetch.

One of the best Flyweights in the world. He's also the last guy to have beaten Guzman (back in the amateurs).

Eh, this is a guy who got KOed in the first round against a cabdriver. It's also Mares' first fight on Engligh language TV, so GBP probably wanted to make him took good to the US boxing public. They set Mares up with a fighter they thought he could KO spectacularly, and he failed in that regard. He certainly doesn't punch hard. Other than that, he looked pretty decent though. A lot to improve upon, but some measure of natural talent at least.
