Anyone else suffer from this? Sparring is pretty much the highlight of my day especially when It's against someone better than me. When it's over I constantly think up new strategies that I try the next day even though most of them don't work and I revert back to my original style, when one does work it's really satisfying.

Hey man; I hear you.. it is like a Rush.. Sparring is as close to an actually match you can get.. it is the time when all that training and shadow boxing starts to pay off.

Trust me I 100% understand what you are saying

College is more important than boxing but it's often hard to focus on that after a great sparring session

Have you had any fights yet? I'm addicted to sparring myself, but fights are one hundred times more fun.

Nope, Coach refuses to let me fight until I improve my stance. According to him I'm not bending down deep enough through my knees and I need to pretend like there's an invisible chair between my legs.

Hmm, it's not good to stand too straight up. You'll lose your balance and fall forward. It's also difficult to get leverage on punches.

But on the contrary, you shouldn't bend too much down.

i suffer from this as well, acually i hate thinking of sparring because of the adrenalyn and nervousness i get preparing to sparr(putting on headgear, mouthguard etc) but when i'm in there i enjoy it so much, after they tell me were done i always wish i could sparr some more rounds
