    Great move. :thumbsup

I kinda expected the WBC to be the one to try it out first, them being the most prestigious and most credible boxing organization right now.

you know what forget it let it be 4 rounds with headgear that will sort it out.

the reason why the powers that be shortend the rounds from 15 to 12 is becuase of a fight between ray mancini and deuk kim. kim was put into a coma and then died a week later... this was seen as a typical oh boxing is evil get rid of it type comments so the wbc orderd the title bouts to go 12 instead of 15.

but in a survey it was seen as guys who will go the distance didnt matter becuase it was not the 13 ,14 ,15 that most boxers get hurt in.

but isnt it a big coincidence that a fight now can be a 1 hour show?:think about 10 minute set up,entrances, comments from commentators and celeb's. the fight last about 48 mins with the 1 min break so you can have an ad brek inbetween.

it makes so much sense for tv people to have fights last an hour than somthing that will last around 73 min which just doesnt work to a schedule.

a 13 round i would love it. so many fight were turned round in the 13 14 15 rounds e.g hearns - leonard, louis - conn, frazier - ali I,II and III
