What adjustments can Fury make without changing his genetics? Fury boxed perfectly within his limits. The only thing Fury can do is either up his pace which requires more roadwork and less weight, or invent a time machine and change his parents so that he's born with punch power or a granite chin.

Wilder only had room to improve technically, Fury barely has room to improve, minus stripping weight to become faster and have more stamina to move.

The claim that Wilder can't adapt I think is wrong. Wilder has great animal like instincts. He honestly reminds me of Marciano or Dempsey in that regard. Wilder was becoming more and more accurate as the fight wore on. That culminated in the final knockdown. Wilder has adjusted, in a rematch, the knockdowns would begin sooner.

To summarize, Wilder is the best talent in the division. Someone with a granite chin, good punch power, plus ring generalship needs to beat him, we don't have anyone like that in the division honestly.

Of course I could be wrong. Wilder could learn nothing, miss alot, not fix his training, and gas earlier and be stopped by Fury. But Wilder would have to be an absolute moron.

Wilders had over 40 fights and hasn't improved technically in my opinion, he didn't adapt last night, he lost on nearly everybody's card.

So going by history Wilder isn't improving in the next 6 months, and yes Wilder punches hard but he isn't a really devastating puncher, if he was Fury wouldn't have got up.

But I believe Fury can improve, yes he can lose some weight, yes he can put another camp in his legs and he can iron out a few mistakes he believes he made and I believe Fury would dominate Wilder in a rematch, it wouldn't be close.

Wilder would have a punchers chance, but I'd put money on Fury to school him in a rematch, Fury proved me wrong completely, I didn't think after his antics he had that left in him.

You are far too high on Wilder.. Wilder couldn't stop a man that was inactive for two years, abused himself with alcohol, food and drugs, was banned for PED's and only fought Seferi and Pianeta and went to Wilder backyard and got off the floor to win the fight (win in most people's opinions)

Wilder just isn't all that, he had every advantage and needed favours on the cards.

Oh And Joshua knocks the snot out of Wilder and quickly, it won't go past 4 rounds, Widler is too easy to hit, Fury doesn't hit hard but Joshua does, AJ rolls Wilder out like a carpet.

Be really difficult for Joshua to knock the snot out of people he won’t fight lol.

I do think he would win, but am not sure he possesses the gonads to prove it.

Exact reverse here. Joshua is too robotic and not fluid like Fury, Wilder will find it much easier to adapt and catch AJ. AJ didn't fight Wilder for a reason.

He has made some improvements, his left hook used to be a travesty, telegraphed it so bad you could make yourself a cup of tea and drink it before it landed.

He's a better counter puncher than he was before and he's made his right hand sneakier, it used to always be this loaded up right hand, now when he has an opponent come to him he's learned to throw it straight and it's disguised pretty well. Unfortunately his lead right hand is still hugely telegraphed.

But he obviously still has huge flaws and his progress has been awfully slow, which maybe a byproduct of how appallingly weak most of his opposition has been. You can't learn much from beating a walking punching bag 20-30 times.

True Joshua will be easier to find, but problem is while he's trying to land on Joshua he's also in far more danger of getting KO'ed because Joshua hits a lot harder than Fury and is a decent counter puncher. Plus if Joshua just pumps the jab he'll have Wilder looking lost again.

I personally think that Wilder's chin is better than AJ, and we all know that Wilder hits harder. I don't think AJ can keep the jab up against Wilder if Fury couldn't.

Reason why Wilder was becoming more accurate as the fight wore on was because Fury was tiring. Early on Fury was moving more and evading Wilder's right by simply moving and not being there to be hit. But from round 8 on wards Fury became more stationary and he was trying to slip the right hand by rolling with it and tucking up behind his shoulder. The 2 times he was dropped he was doing this.

In a rematch if Fury is lighter and has better stamina, he might not tire until round 10 or later giving Wilder an even smaller window to catch Fury.

Fury that fought Wlad would of shut out Wilder and not been dropped once.

Didnt really look that way to me. In fact, the only one that looked dead tired to me was Wilder

I somewhat agree with the final statement. I think Wilder would've gotten a flash knockdown against the Fury that beat Klitschko, but otherwise wouldve been shut out. 11 rounds to 1

I don't think either of their chins are as bad as they are made out to be. Wilder was dropped early on in his career more due to poor balance and defence. He showed vs Ortiz he could take a decent punch. A glass chinned fighter would of been hurt by even Fury's power.

Joshua has shown he can take a shot, Whyte left hook counter dropped Parker for the first time as an amateur or pro, so clearly it's a dangerous punch and just like Wilder early on it was more a defensive issue than a chin issue. Joshua also took Wlad's best right hand which is harder than Wilder's right hand, so I think Joshua has a decent chin.

As for Wilder's chin being better than AJ's there is nothing we've seen to suggest that is true. Joshua has been down less but again that's probably due to him having better balance and defence, rather than Joshua having a clearly better chin.

What we do know is that both can likely hurt the other and both can be hurt when trying to go for the KO. Wilder was hurt both times by Fury after dropping him, because he's so wild and it's easy to sneak straight shots down the middle against those wild swings. Joshua was hurt when trying to stop Whyte and Wlad.

Rewatch the fight and see how Fury responds to Wilder's right hand before and after the 8th you'll notice a difference. If Fury wasn't tiring then he was getting too cocky and not using his feet on purpose because he definitely changed how he was dealing with the right hand and that's why he got dropped twice.

Pretty sure there are statements saying Wilder hits harder than old klitschko

Actually, by just watching them you can tell Wilder hits harder

Throw in 40 year old Wlad with the likes of shot Stiverne, shot Liakhovich, Malik "I'm just going to lie down now" Scott and Wlad would look like a heavyweight version of Julian Jackson.

Lets see Wilder KO guys with proven good chins like Wlad has done then maybe Wilder might have an argument but even then I doubt it, Wlad put guys to sleep with his punches and did it at a higher level.
