I want Oscar to go **** himself! We need to see if boxing can survive without him.

As a serious contender to win a major fight against Mayweather jr in a rematch or Cotto then he should retire because he cannot do it. I have no problems with him as a promoter, overall he has been good for boxing but his time has past in the ring.

I have no problem with him as a promoter but he's gotten too big for the sport and too bad in the ring. The fact that he has been picking and choosing opponents and has not been a regular legitimate member of a division since 1999 (when he lost to Felix Trinidad) pisses me off. For nearly nine years now the guy has been showing up when he feels like it, beating hand picked opponents in warm-up fights, and then facing a big name opponent....everyone of which (shot vargas aside) he's lost to. Its like there is this Oscar dela hoya side show boxing world, and everyone else is boxing for real: facing contenders, defending belts against mandatories, trying to unify (well some of them at least). And every once and a while one of the real boxers goes from the real boxing world into side show land, makes a ton of money, and beats his ass. Well now that promoters are putting good entertaining fights together that have more then just hype we don't need this side show champ.

Whats Hoyas record the last 15 fights 11-4. I think he is great for boxing as a promoter. He can enact some change and do a lot for fighters and the sport of boxing as promoter.
