You picked Tackie by KO inside 3 rounds. FACT.

Any Brit forum poster of the time (and many are at Doghouse so could easily verify it) will remember, as does GazOC.

You said Tackie would starch him based on the being dropped by Magee.

When I asked you who would be a good opponent after the Castillo fight you gave a list of guys he would duck because they were prime and would beat him, one of them was Paulie. FACT.

It was not one upset. He beat a guy who had just demolished the number 2 Mitchell, and he went on to beat several fighters who have proved they belong at world level. Urango does not look like such a **** name now does it?
Elite? No. World Championship standard? Yes.

He beat Paulie better than Cotto did and he was competetive although losing to PBF until the 10th. He got obliterated by Manny.

Plenty of world class guys and even ATG fighters have been destroyed. Frazier twice, Hearns, Duran. Duran was whipped twice by ATG legends. Hatton has had the same happen.
Before you start with a strawman, no I am not comparing Hatton to Duran as a fighter, but pointing out that losing to two ATGs does not remove what he has achieved.

I would still pick him over the likes of Bradley, Holt et al.

And deep down you know full well that if he had beaten Pacman, you would have within months have used the starting weight as a way to discredit the win.

You are totally blinded by hatred and I can hand on heart say that there is not a fighter that has lived who I judge in such an obsessive and biased manner as you and Betty judge Hatton.

I think it's natural for someone to go to great lengths to prove their point. I've done it myself with Naz a number of times.

But the blinding hatred is unfathomable.

So you agree with me that he isnt an all time great........well what were u trying to argue against?

Champion for 4 years but selected his opponents aswell.

Like i said before he is not the only one........Mayweather does it, Vlad does it...........not many take on all comers.........Hopkins, Pacman, Marquez do.

No way, this one is a sustained beatdown Calzaghe v Lacy style, rather than a spectacular knock out.

Poor Scurla is still on his feet, but he might never be the same again :!:

 Yeah your right. 240lb Scurla vs 112lbs of sopping wet Strike (including the Dax weighing down his barnet) results in a stunning KO. Strike gets scrapped off the pavement and sent packing back up North.

Wrong. I simply lace a bucket of KFC with arsenic and as you rush in you spot the chicken, stop to devour it and keel over dead as you are just 2ft from me.

I've never said Hatton is an ATG, he obviously isn't. What I'm "arguing" against is your appraisal of Frochs career and options open to him.

When you have an agenda most champions can be accused of "selecting" opponents, you can always spin the line that someone has been ducked during most title reigns.

Look at the example of Bradley who Hatton has been accused of ducking in this thread, when did Hatton duck that fight? Before Witter Bradley had fought no one, he then beats gatekeeper Edner Cherry on points, during that time frame Hatton fights PBF, Lascano and the #1 ranked PaulieM and yet Hatton still ducked Bradley....sometimes its true but mostly its just agenda driven around here.

So you agree with me basically............as for the stuff about timothy.........ur right but i personally never brought it up as an issue.

Why dont we ALL talk about Pacman and his All time great status..........i thought he was a 5 weight champ..........but some sources are saying 6?

What about the possible fghters for Pac to fight?

    F. Mayweather 140
    T. Bradley 140
    Holt 140
    S. Mosley 147
    M. Cotto 147
    P. Williams 147 or 154
    C. Spinks 154

I'd leave in Floyd, Cotto, Mosley and Williams and add JMM again (even if he is beaten by Floyd, unless Pac then beats Floyd).

Any of those fights would excite me. There's a lot of fights out there for Pac. If I was him, I'd stay away from Williams. Other than that he can cause anyone else problems.
