    Number 2 at middleweight right now

    all time not really sure he has held a belt for 6 or 7 yrs he is a 3 time belt holder

    his best win is probably Castillejo or Sylvester or someone of the same kind of caliber

    he is in my eyes a good fighter but has some questionable decisions and has strong sharp punches and a great jab but often hides behind his guard and could and should throw more

    his career is defined by big fights not made (NOT BLAMING HIM)

    Abraham- other big German based holder would have been huge not sure why it never happened but it didnt

    Taylor- beat Hopkins to become the man at the weight neither made the fight though the styles meshed well

    Pavlik- Beat Taylor to become the man fight almost made but apparently the money brought in by HBO was a disgrace

    Martinez- Beat Pavlik to become the man fight hasnt been made yet but could

    He has some good wins like Macklin and ghevor but the decisions were not liked

    i went on the all time middleweight boxrec ranks and he wasnt in the first few pages

    its a deep rich division but i dont know if the ranks are that good as Cerdan was near 100 and Graziano near 150

    Good post :good

    I think Felix will be forever judged on his preformances where the wrong descision was given to him, which is never fair to the fighter. However he has had such a long reign and was also on the wrong end of a home descision against ODLH

    He is an ATG who dominated prime ODLH and was ducked by everybody ever since.

    :lol::lol::lol: It's funny cuz "Felix Sturm" is about as German-sounding a name as a guy could have. Sorta like "Axel Schulz" or "Timo Hoffmann":smoke:smoke

    Personally, as a German, I wish Axel Schulz and Timo Hoffmann were foreigners, not Sturm...
