Stevenson looks more explosive than GGG, but Stevenson in reality is a one handed fighter and just relies on his power and athleticism.

How is this possible when GGG has not fought at 168 or 175!! Do you people actually think through you thinking process before posting, or is everything done on gut instinct and nut licking.?

If adonis goes back to 160 and GGG moves up to 160 then adonis is knocking him the **** out.

At least Adonis Stevenson fights the best out there, unlike GGG who only fights bums.

GGG has got to fight the top dogs at 160lbs first before we all start making fantasy match ups at any other weight. Besides I can't see Stevenson coming down to 168lbs when he seems very comfortable at 175. At the same time I can't see GGG going up to 168 let alone 175lbs at anytime soon! Kovalev vs Stevenson is the only fight people should be looking for at 175lbs and for GGG, it has to be Martinez, Geale, Quillin or Barker as his next fight (after this **** one just announced).

How obtuse are you people? GGG cannot fight guys who WILL NOT fight him. There is basically no chance of Golovkin facing any of the fighters you mentioned with the slim exception of Geale next. It actually looks like they are shooting for Murray in April(GGG's next HBO date).

The rest of your post seems spot on however.

I think Murray is the biggest threat at 160 to ggg

As has already been mentioned there's certainly hints of Murray after Adama.
Adama's a bit of a disappointing match but it was never gonna be a decent name in Monte Carlo.

FWIW Sanchez essentially says (article today on 'Scene) the team wants to clear out 160 as best they can and then the plan is a move to 168.

I also don't think Stevenson is likely to move back down 'less he's got a real good reason. He's a big guy - fought at 189lbs against Bellew - and all his real success has come at LHW.

(Bellew fought at 190 and is now talking about a move to Cruiser - just like Clev when he got KTFO. - Both kids got their brains scrambled I think - tho they could fight each other again I suppose...)

Fair point, although I've only read\heard in the last year statements from Martinez team with regards to a fight.

I don't think its the boxers who won't fight him, but their teams who don't want to sacrifice their cash cows for minimal financial gain. Lou DiBella said at the start of the year that Martinez will fight 3G, but not at that moment, nothing else has been said since because Lou obviously wants Martinez to retire as champion. However, I'm willing to also see that 3G despite his rep in the boxing community, is still a relative unknown to the casual boxing/sports fan. These guys might be waiting for big money pay days, but in order to get them, he has to get them first and for him to get them he has to fight big names first in order to get known. I think Geale would be a good test, but unless he goes up to 168 afterwards, continuing at 160lbs fighting nobodies is a waste of time.

As someone has said, fighting Murray is on the cards and that would be a good test for 3G. That needs to happen in Britain, it would be great exposure for 3G. I still say it would be a real shame if, once again, boxing politics and vested interests prevents another big fight from being made in the form of Martinez vs Golovkin. I guess 3G may have no choice but to move up to 168 then, but I still don't see him fighting Stevenson in the near future.

I still live in hope of GGG - Maravilla and Lou DB has certainly hinted that it will happen at some point - Lewcowicz has in fact said that their plan is Cotto then GGG, but I guess we'll just wait'n'see. If it does get made it'll probably be Sergios last fight, so I expect him to get at least one more money fight first.

Maybe or they all three are hiding something..:think Yes, Kovalev too.:yep

Ward has proven to be the best of these three master concealers of fragile Chins.
