Charlo is throwing jabs into the face and right hands scraping across the back of the neck of Bellamy, colliding with him on the follow-through. Bellamy is wrestled onto the canvas, ruled correctly a slip. Charlo is keeping the match ranged, turning Bellamy without pause and employing the jab and grab strategy. Charlo shuffles out and waits for Bellamy with a jab, sweeping both arms out to encircle his chest when Bellamy comes in with thumping body shots with both hands. Charlo takes a step back and lands a flush counter left hook on the point of the nose of Bellamy.

Charlo is playing keepaway, sticking his jab down into the swollen eye of Bellamy and crashing long right hands into the back of his neck. Bellamy keeps following Charlo around the ring, unable to cut off the ring.

Bellamy tries jabbing high to peck his way inside but can not keep up with Charlo's swifter legs. Counter jabs and clubbing rights on the eyes by Charlo, leaping back to dodge Bellamy's desperate home run swing left hooks up top.
