...and you just so happen to be from Montreal, and thus entirely objective in this matter.

    How about you STFU?

What's true? We have to STFU if for some reason a fighter is a **** and we dislike him as a result?

It's a sport. He can do all his posing and fannying around once he knows his opponent is up and not seriously injured. It's about having a degree of compassion and humility.

Then again, this is Adonis Stevenson we're talking about.

No but we all know he is a bad guy but you dont have to say it every time.

Do I have to mention what Robinson or Monzon did out of the ring before I talk about them?

Me to the one I would love to see though is Foch vs Stevenson it would be legalised murder.

"Every time" = 1 time? In a thread where he's actually fighting?

I like Groves, and I think he's a more skilled fighter than Adonis, but I really do question his durability, James DeGale was knocking him back whenever he landed to the head or the body. Stevenson is a beast and I'm not sure Groves could absorb it over 12 rounds. Of course Groves is more skilled than the likes of Boone, but it would really depend on his tactics, he could pull out another DeGale type win, working off the back foot. But if he goes toe to toe I wouldn't fancy his chances.

Pretty much everyone said it before actually talking about his actual fight. People ***** and moan far too much about personal ****. Especially boxing fans, stick to TMZ

I wouldn't go that far. Froch has a decent chance of winning.

My comment was related to his posing while Boone was KTFO. And at any rate, this is a sport about dudes beating the **** out of one another. I don't think it's too far out there to want to pick a side based on any perceived personality.

I'm not just going to blindly root for a fighter because he was born in the same Country as me. Eh, to each their own I guess.

I'd put it at better than decent, but I see what you're saying. Froch should avoid this fight as its pretty unnecessary with little reward. IF he beats Kessler (IMO I'm not convinced he will), he's got mega buck rematches with Bute and Ward ahead and failing that an all English showdown with Groves if Groves can get a strap. I don't see Adonis becoming a factor in Froch's career before Carl retires. Adonis isn't a big name and Froch has other fish to fry. If Froch v Adonis was going to happen it would have been because the Kessler rematch fell through.

19-20-3 Boone is still 1-1 with Stevenson, yet Boone stopped Stevenson earlier than Stevenson could stop him, rematch? :deal

It was entertaining....perhaps of Stevenson falls victim to an opponent pulling out late, I could think of worse replacements!
