    I was originally watching the Showtime broadcast tonight, but when I got word of Don Majeski's round-by-round scoring, I swtiched over to the Box Nation broadcast. Majeski having scored this fight for Dirrell by 110-87 after 11 rounds is simply unspeakable. I looked up Don Majeski's name on BoxRec, thankfully he apparently has never been a professional judge. I did enjoy the Box Nation discussion of his scoring. Per Steve Lillis, Majeski is closely aligned with the WBC, which is trying to introduce liberal use of 10-8 and even 10-7 rounds to guard against scenarios where one boxer beats the holy heck out of another for 5 rounds without scoring knockdowns, only to get outboxed by a few jabs over the last 7 rounds and thus losing a fight in which he had, in sum, by far the dominant performance. Gary Lockett said he was sympathetic to the concept, but that such a system would be open to ridiculous abuses and thus should not be used, and that keeping the scoring simplified and standardized, as it currently is, is by far the better option. Interesting discussion, correct conclusions.

    Dan is throwing his southpaw 1-2 up at the hairline of Bizier and s****ing it from outside. Bizier counters with straight body shots. Bizier is jogging to his left, throwing right hand leads, cleaner and more accurate while Dan is busier pumping in single right jabs and combos.
